Joe Schilling sucker punching drunk guy

I'm typing all this from my phone. U must be another adolescent since u resort to making personal insults just to someone typing in a fashion u don't like.
I’m just a grammar Nazi lol. I do make the effort to type properly even on the phone. Are you using a flip-phone?

Yet another insult. That's it for me in this thread - clearly too few adults left here to talk in a civilised and constructive fashion with. For your information, when he calls him, he doesn't have to walk back to confront him. If he stopped turned around and stayed where he is then that is standing your ground. The moment he walked back to balboa he negates it.

In general, it's a bad idea to turn your back to angry drunk people yelling at you.

That’s unprovoked assault where I come from. If you can’t simply walk past someone who looks at you without punching them, you have a serious problem.

Schilling actually bumped the dude and plowed through so its arguable who was looking for what

Schilling was begging for this to happen

There was an open path Schilling was making his way through that closed up when the drunk guy backed up into him.

"Plowed through"? The drunk backs up into him and Schilling lightly moves him aside.

I don't even like Joe but I dislike the kind of person that got laid out even more, so cool.

Apparently Joe's blind or visually impaired lol.

At what point was Joe gonna sidestep? Your own words indicate Joe was walking rifht towards him.

I LOVE mma fans
Joe was walking in a straight line and the guy ran into him. And yiure blaming Joe. Either yiure fucking retarded or you're fucking retarded.

I cant even remember this case or this thread but kudos on thinking you made some kind of point 2 years later.
Oh bb I hadn't thought of you I just knew I had posts in this thread and hopped through a few pages until I found them.

If Schilling was a poc this would be a 300 page thread calling him a classless thug etc etc

We do have many idiotic laws. But you come across as quite dumb picking one of the actual good ones to call out as dumb. Also, it is "you're".

If you watch that video and think that law is a "good one", you're an immature idiotic bitch. Basement dweller.

depends, Im almost certain instances like this have taken place where Joe Schilling is the guy that gets KOd. The fact a law is in place to ensure a person can defend himself when threatened without repercussions is a good thing.

American retard logic, Joe had no other way out of this situation right?

Hey man, props to Joe. He got what he wanted.

Mental gymnastics to try and pretend Joe wasnt looking for confrontation.

God bless mma fans

If the drunk were a poc it would be in mainstream news for 6 months and Joe would probably be charged with a hate crime.

Classless thugs are those teens in Chicago that stomped that girl into the pavement until she went unconscious.

Ran into him? The guy was standing there and stumbled back slightly.

I somehow highly doubt a 6'3" prize fighter is threatened by a drunk civilian half his size.

I don't know how it is in Australia, but in the US, you don't have to take a closed fist to the jaw just because you have experience as a professional fighter. You can actually punch back if someone is winding up to punch you.

Correction: didn't have a legal obligation to retreat.

A lot of this conjecture is just anti-individual rights. Prizefighters have the same protections of the law as the rest of us, not less or more.

Not saying anything about his legal rights, just stating that someone who is threatened doesn't walk directly toward the threat, let alone one who just happens to specialize in unarmed combat.

The guy didn't even swing though, he didn't even have a close fist to indicate that he was winding up to throw a punch. He had a minor flex and if you watch it in slow motion, by the time he is punched he clearly pulled back.
