Joe Rogan isnt sold on the Bing Bang theory finds Jesus resurrection more plausible

What specifically have I exaggerated or misinterpreted?

You know what I think a better indicator is to tell if somebody is angry? If they are swearing at you and hurling personal insults.

You've brought up three things that were wrong and instead of admitting that and conceding my position and having a discussion, you've just jumped to new things.

You just playing an immature game of gotcha because you're angry at religion and somehow you think that has something to do with me. Some poor dude on the internet who doesn't even care if you're an atheist.

I don't know what insults I've hurled at you. How about you list them in this discussion specifically.

And frankly man, this is just becoming a toxic circular argument.

Then who can truly tell what made him lose it? Maybe the DMT didn’t do it at all, but some jungle bug or whatever? I’ll take you at your word here though, since I have no clue at all.

This girl was religious to start and came out super religious. Went nutty for awhile. She isn’t as bonkers as she was for awhile, but she has kept up her newly gained zeal for her particular religion. Something spooked her. At least it seemed to us.
No, the physical stuff that happened was separate from the psychological damage. He was wrecked the second he came out of that trip man.

I kind of have a bad take on DMT. Frankly, I just meet way too many people that have negative experiences with entities that are not friendly.

Has Joe announced when he plans to give away his wealth in order to enter the kingdom of heaven?
It's important to remember that it's not money itself, but the love of money that is the root of all evil. But yeah, not gonna happen lol

Im asking honest questions.

Sure.

It's kind of pathetic man.

you might want to let that tendency fade into obscurity like all the other losers who lost their followings.

Most people have decided you're the biggest assholes on the internet

I kind of have a bad take on DMT.

DMT really messes people up. I know a guy who did it repeatedly and has since became a completely different person, delusional and paranoid to the point the swat team has had to come to his house.

List them.

Sure.
Okay well I stand by those last two but they aren't insults. They're actually descriptions and they're accurate.
.

the first one's not an insult.

And I already listed the things you were wrong about just three posts up. You just failed to respond which has been your approach to this whole discussion.

Anyway man, your toxicity is now boring and polluting the thread and derailing it.

I won't be responding to you again.

You left out Moses causing his staff to turn into a snake because God told him to.

I meant to quote your lucid dream quote and fucked up, just a clarification.

Have you ever tried hypnagogic hallucinations?

The painter Dali, Einstein, Thomas Edison, among others, all employed this technique for creativity purposes, and it has been suggested that these are responsible for religious experiences, etc.

The idea is that you become so exhausted from not sleeping that your REM sleep gets screwed up. After such, upon immediately falling asleep, your brain goes directly in to REM, sometimes while you are still conscious. Basically, you are awake during the dream state - although it feels nothing like a "dream", it feels like reality complete with all of your senses. It is said that at least 60% of adults will experience this at least once in their lifetime.

Dali would stay awake for days on end, on purpose. Once he got to the point of nodding off, he would hold a metal key in his hand and as soon as he fell asleep his muscles would relax, he'd drop the key and wake himself up. He'd then paint what he saw in this vision (hallucination).

After a motorcycle wreck a number of years ago I was prescribed a fairly benign muscle relaxant called baclofen. This drug can cause hypnagogic hallucinations. I nodded off, was completely conscious and aware that I was just lying in bed, and went in to one of these hypnagogic hallucinations. All I can say is it felt more real than real, or, just as real as this world. Was absolutely insane. I thought I had died.

Can you imagine a world where all these self-professed fundamentalists actually practiced His teachings?
If everyone followed the teachings of Christ the world would be a far better place.
You left out Moses causing his staff to turn into a snake because God told him to.
I’m partial to Samson tying torches to 300 foxes tails and sending them to burn down a village. The flying bears that ate a bunch of shithead teenagers is pretty metal too. (Ok, canonically they emerged from the bushes. I’ve just always preferred to imagine them flying in like anime characters before fucking up those 42 teens)

Please explain how you can hurl insults and then call me angry? Or how that’s not trying to be rude?

Live and let live has nothing to do with having a perfectly reasonable theological discussion or even debate.

You admitting that you know what it’s like to be angry, unhappy and ill adjusted makes a lot of sense. You should probably work on that.

You're a PNW Supremacist.

And also apparently a mean boy, all the Sherbros are saying it.

No dummy. You didn't follow. The Big Bang Theory could be part of Intelligent Design. Please follow along.

The exceptional amount of extreme outliers required to make it just a chance occurrence from chaos requires absolute extreme faith. To be an Atheist means you defy Math.
That’s not true at all of course.

I have nothing against believing in God. My issue is with individuals who don't practice or even believe in the religion they profess to adhere to, and the grifters who satisfy their confirmation bias. I agree with everything in the paragraph following "As an ex-..."

"It means nothing to point out their behavior runs contrary to Christ."
100% they're divorced from it entirely. It's nauseating and sad. Can you imagine a world where all these self-professed fundamentalists actually practiced His teachings?

+1

Too many people think that going to church on Sunday is what makes them religious, when it should be their behavior outside of church that is the indicator of how religious they are.

If the gospels are to be believed, JC said to give it up. Camels and needles, ya know?

If matter and energy have to be created, where did the creator come from? Did the creator have a creator, ad infinitum? You're arguing with circular logic.
I know, that's why I stated it always turns into one big giant loop. Even when you can answer a certain question, it just brings up a lot more questions.

lol ok. “I’m not Not mad or emotional, but you’re an asshole”. Not an insult, gotcha.

I never gave an opinion re: Rogan so that can’t be wrong.

I gave the dictionaries definition of a word. That’s not wrong.

From what I understand, You think the talking donkey isn’t to be taken literally. I’d love to see any Hermeneutical reasoning behind that stance. I’d wager that majority of Judaic and judeo Christian teachers would say that the donkey spoke, hut but im happy to hear your interpretation of it so long as you can provide evidence to back up your position.

You’re like a guy who starts going too hard in sparring then gets upset when at mat enforcer holds you accountable to that.

the only bad trips i've ever been on with hallucinogens were all on shrooms. several times i've managed to convince myself that i was going to die and it was all fucked up. but the good ones made up for them.
