I doubt he would've ever been prosecuted had he not been Biden's son. Or at least for the offenses he was convicted on, he probably was let off with a slap on the wrist other times for having been Joe Biden's son so maybe its karma ultimately catching up to him. But absent Biden winning the 2020 election I doubt he would've been prosecuted for these offenses.

I don't agree with this assuming this non-Biden lived the same life as Hunter. If he were poor, he would be in jail for things like leaving his gun at a school while being a drug addict. But he's both rich and a politician's kid so he would be ignored like the rest of the politicians' kids.

No he's definitely guilty but if Biden wasn't elected no one would've cared and yet at the same time despite that he was guilty and Joe ideally should've taken the L and moved on. Hard to ask when its his son but that's the "right" thing to do.

Hunter is honestly asking for it so its hard to feel too sorry for him but lots of ordinary people commit lesser crimes that might look bad if you suddenly put a spotlight to them.

Yet you argued with me that Trump's charges were NOT political prosecution because the charges were "real." This is not showing consistency from you.

Just because those two things can be true doesn't mean they're always both true. In the case of the Jack Smith indictment for Jan 6th, the Georgia RICO case, and the documents case I think those were strong and if anything too careful about going after Trump. The other stuff I haven't looked into as much.

Like I said in that post he probably got off lightly on previous offenses but I think the tax evasion and lying on the gun form are things lots of people get away with.

Trump 100% would and should have gone to prison for the documents case if not for a single politically motivated judge that made a decision based entirely on her personal politics
