"The ABC late-night host’s remarks constituted “the sickest conduct possible,” FCC chair Brendan Carr
told right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson on Wednesday.
Carr suggested his FCC could move to revoke ABC affiliate licenses as a way to force Disney to punish Kimmel.*
“We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Carr said. “
These companies* can find ways to change conduct and take actions on Kimmel, or there’s going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”
And speaking on Fox Wednesday night, Carr suggested broadcasters would see more of this kind of pressure in the future.""
*as I already pointed out, "these companies" are currently trying to acquire more TV stations than they're legally allowed to when current FCC regulations have placed a cap on how many they may own, and they need the FCC to raise the cap to complete the acquisition.

What did he say? Is that confirmed?
Yes.
Give this a listen. You can skip the first minute to get to the relevant bit. Carr's comments follow a brief interview with a former FCC chairman talking about the vested interests of Nextstar and Sinclair, who joined in on putting pressure on ABC since they "have business before the FCC", and about how what Carr did is unconstitutional and violates the FCC's own rules.
Edit: beat me to it,
