Roseanne is such a liar. Obama never once called iger to have her fired or removed. Roseanne Barr was fired by CEO Bob Iger after she tweeted an offensive comment about Valerie Jarrett, a former advisor to President Obama. Bob Iger has said in his memoir that he made the decision; he warned Barr prior about her social media activity. Also, Valerie Jarrett said that Iger called her before the announcement that Roseanne’s show was being canceled, he apologized and said there was “zero tolerance for that sort of racist, bigoted comment.”

I deleted the image for redundancy sakes (just so you know). I appreciate the honest comments, I really do. I will agree, as well, that the Democrats are likely 'playing ball' so to speak. Not that it's right, but it is what it is. I keep forgetting that I'm an old fuck, now, and probably remember this shit devolving year after year. Kids today only get snippets of how bad shit used to be for anyone who wasn't white in this country. I feel bad for white people, too. Many of them are just good people fucked over by a bunch of insane rightists sixty or so years ago. The ramifications are still felt today. So, when I hear about the militant left or ANTIFA, it's sort of the bed they made to lie in. Is that wrong to consider?

I just had to explain to my nephew, not long ago, about Jim Crow. There seems to be some stupid idea that civil rights just magically appeared after the Civil War. I had to explain to this kid, who lives in nothing but a Trumpist echo-chamber, that - believe it or not - we used to lynch black people just for being black. He couldn't even tell me who Malcom X was. I took a Sanborn map of Columbus one time with him, and overlaid the racist redistricting from the early 20th century. Would you believe it? Those areas are STILL getting fucked over.

No love lost for idiot liberals, but the right has a larger ledger to reconcile.
 
And now you have Donald Trump telling ABC's Jonathan Karl he'll 'probably go after' him and network over 'hate in your heart'. Everyone should be truly alarmed by this statement coming from the President.

Wasn't Kimmel gone in 6 months anyway? Disney taking path of least resistance for a show that was already on the way out.

Don't think people in entertainment should be canceled(There should probably be more legal notices and corrections read for bad information)

The company that owned all the ABC affliates that wanted Kimmel pulled need the FCC to approve a buyout of another media company due to that purchase would put them over the 40% rule. What a better way to get it done, is to placate the Man Baby with Swollen Ankles and Hand Bruises, who is super thin skinned and gets triggered when comedians pick on him. Well Trump hates Kimmel, so Nexstar just waits for Kimmel to say something dumb , pull him off air, and Trump will make sure the FCC gives them a pass on the 40% rule.
