YouGov recently did a poll. While most people view Kirk’s assassination as the left wing hit it was. Only 10 percent of democrats did. 33 percent of democrats think it was a right winger. An even more troubling amount were “not sure”

So the media shying away from the obvious ideology, and lies like the one Kimmel told, are obviously painting a false picture to those who most need to know what happened. Leftists

Kimmel didn't lie. He never said that the shooter was a Trump supporter.

He said that MAGAs were desperate to paint him as anything but MAGA and then played a clip of Trump giving zero fucks about Kirk's death as bragged about his new ballroom.

Is this not what happened? I mean, I don't think Kimmel said anything at all out of line, if that's the timeline as it happened. Wasn't the whole "Oh, lol at the right on right crime" narrative going around these forums well before this kid was really exposed as being the family oddball? Did Kimmel say his piece AFTER all the engraved casings/trans focus bullshit start coming out?

I'll be 100% honest here. I'm skeptical as fuck in all of this. The family turned the kid in to save his life and I truly don't believe that kid would have been brought in alive by whoever got their hands on him first.

If I am misremembering the timeline or whatever, I'm sorry. But I don't have cable TV, haven't in decades, I'm not a fan of Kimmel, so I count on Sherdog to keep me informed on some things. But from what I pieced together I believe Kimmel said what he did before all the real information started coming out. If I'm wrong, sorry in advance to whoever's feathers get ruffled.

Hope Jimmy does a 40-minute monologue on how MAGA are fascists and Charlie Kirk's memorial service weirdly didnt have any relatives or close friends. Just his wife and a bunch of political rabble-rousing.

Evidence was out. He acted with malice and upstanding Americans and employers are done with vitriolic propaganda. Kimmel is a non-funny diarrhea show with terrible ratings. He is a hypocrite and two bit grifter that learned the hard way there are consequences for being a liar and a piece of shit.
 
I wonder if the affiliates will run their own shows during that time slot in the future? That would be interesting.

Kimmel gets no viewers, the show loses $$$, this was a sound "business decision".

Meh... I really don't care. I only turn on ABC, NBC, CBS for sports.

Kimmels show likely bleeds $150-200 MIl a year since costs (shit locations, production with god knows how much time wasted, whole 20+ team of writers and the jokes are LITERALLY shared by all the netwoks anyways) massively outweigh ad revenue. ABC keeps it alive for prestige and "brand value" lol -- and promo'ing other media projects/guests. The outrage over his "cancel" or what the fuck ever is absurd....

Audience is tiny, and he gets away with alienating viewers because the real value is in influence and digital clips, not live ratings. Late night shit like this will always offend 1/2 the country, but with how modern media is operated ; he's a relic of a time long gone.

If you were lookin at the show from money perspective -- it woulda been axed years ago, but late night shit like this is just a "loss leader" -- and I guess it's expected.

He gets a ratings bump, media pays more to advertise -- everyone EAGERLY awaits what he has to say when literally BEFORE this no one gave a fuck what he had to say in the first place -- as his viewership, biz model, and entire operation is literally a failing creation.

Yay for all that I guess.
