Don’t worry the pearl clutching MAGA-Doggers in this thread will ignore that or wait for Libs of TikTok or CatTurd to spin it for them. Trump is so soft he is triggered by 4 broads on The Fucking View.
Hopefully the view gets cancelled next

You're not even making sense. The FCC isn't taking away your right to free speech if they revoke your license to use public airwaves. You don't have a right to use the public airwaves. The privilege to use public airwaves is granted to you by the FCC, and that privilege is granted on the condition that your programming serves the public interest. You know who the arbiter is on whether or not your content serves the public interest? You wanna take a guess?

You can make your little ought claims all you want, but your 'ought' will never be an 'is.'
You’re a psycho. Lol at thinking the federal fuckin government should be able to revoke your license for protected speech that doesn’t violate any terms. It’s amazing that right wingers are celebrating the federal government intervening on something like this. Fuckin cowards.

You could just google this

I guess people are just getting fired for being nice <36>

Like I said originally, you're not a real person. You're a husk, a useful body for propaganda. Don't quote me again.
Sherdog. He said loads of people on sherdog were celebrating. Keep up, Mr. White Male Victim crybaby. Dehumanizing anyone who disagrees with you. It’s no wonder you don’t understand empathy.

Basically Kimmel implied that it was a MAGA person. He did not say it was confirmed, so he could just as well have been implying his opinion rather than that it was a fact he knew for certain- the opinion that he thought it was a MAGA person, which was not a good thing to be saying, but is different than confirming it as if it were a known fact that the he had adequate reason to be sure of. That kind of irresponsibility happens all of the place in the news these days, much less commentary situations like this; we would have to censor a lot of people to stop that sort of spin. Most anyone would have thought he was opining that it was MAGA person rather than confirming it. It would have otherwise been explicit rather than just an implication, with some more details.

In other words, it was a dick thing to say given the circumstances and timing, but the idea of censoring it for misinformation is ridiculous. There have been a lot of people (including people in the news on both sides) falsely calling it the other side in many previous incidents well beforehand.

He also has absolutely abysmal ratings decline. This was just a minor push that they were looking for to can him

There is some debate about that because Kimmel gets millions of views on YouTube for his clips. It's not the part that matter for me though- things have gone awry when the FCC is threatening for the sort of statements he made and threatening to go after others.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them…”

No. Trying to paint this as “well people can’t make death threats online” isn’t going to work, Andy. That’s not what is happening. You know it. We all know it.
Re the facebook posts, no, I don't. It was an honest comment. The content of the posts matters and I haven't seen them (or is there even more than one such example?)

What part of that Kimmel quote is false, exactly? Right after the news of the murder broke, and before anything whatsoever was known about the shooter--remember they first arrested two people who had no involvement in the crime but MAGA doxxed them anyway--MAGA was declaring he was a leftist and saying all the left are scum like him. At least one person in the WR went so far as to say there is a war on white people.

No, he didn't imply anything. He straight up said what happened. See my response to Rob immediately above. The point is they were going right off the chain from the instant the news broke, and before the alleged shooter was even arrested. That's a fact.

I don’t care about Kimmel one way or another. But couldn’t he have just apologized on Twitter or on his following show? That Kilmeade guy said a solution to homeless camps would be to “kill them”. He apologized, and that seemed enough. No firing, no calls from Trump and his admin for Kilmeade to be fired.

I don't think he should apologize for saying something that was objectively a fact.

Aside from that, we all know why they have a problem with Kimmel and not the the guys talking about killing homeless people.

It doesn't change the way I see the situation legally; I do think there was some implications though in the way he said that.

That's such a poor narrative. His contract was up in May 2026 and it's still more expensive to can him now, than wait until his contract expires.

It was clear by the time of the airing that Robinson was anything but MAGA.

What did he do that was so wrong? He said the kid came from a MAGA family, which is factually correct.

The real problem is that people here and in MAGA automatically label any gay or transgender person as "far left" Democrat. But there are gay and transgender Republicans.

So it's impossible for there to be a gay or transgender Republican? Because they do exist.

What actual evidence do you have, beyond the fact that he was gay and in a relationship with a trans partner? My guess is zero.
You serious, Clark?
