Haha no way fuck that guyIf you try and rank that fricking Stavros dude over Chris Rock I'm gonna snap!
Those two were great comedians too…well played Pittie…well played…
The bigger question... why didn't they do a movie together? Could you imagine both of them trying to one-up the other? It would be outrageous!

Williams was a known joke thief and asshole in comedy clubs, and his stand-up was pretty bad. He was all energy, nothing clever and nothing funny. He was also ironically a better dramatic actor than a comedic actor, and his comedy movies largely suck and he was rarely funny in them. Carrey, on the other hand, was a great stand-up and a great impressionist and that's before getting to his one-of-a-kind comedic acting. Not only was Carrey amazing on In Living Color, he also has half a dozen all-timer comedy films on his resume and turned in some of the funniest performances in film history.
This is like Fedor vs Tim Sylvia. Sure, Sylvia accomplished a lot and on paper is a solid HW champ, but Fedor still buzzsawed through him. Carrey obliterates Williams here and it's not close.

I disagree about Robin Williams, maybe his early stand-ups in the 80s weren't good and he was stealing jokes. But he has one of the best stand-ups I've ever seen on 2002 New York Broadway.
I doubt he stole any jokes there and it's as good as Carlin stand-ups imo.
Dude, George Carlin is literally the GOAT. He is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Robin Williams in every single category of stand-up comedy. Williams' entire existence as a comedian is as a poor Jonathan Winters impersonator (which is to say that he spent his career just doing what Winters did...because that's the extent of Williams' "comedy," he just did other people's stuff loudly and with a ton of sweat).
Carlin was an original, a pioneer, and IMO the greatest to ever do it. Carrey, for his part, isn't one of the stand-up GOATs, but he too was an original and he had tremendous talent. Williams...not so much. But hey, if you like his stuff, go to it.
I liked Jim Carrey as a kid but now I find a lot of Carrey's stuff to be too over the top to the point of being irritating instead of funny.
