*JDS Fans?*

I doubt if JDS even wins his next fight if it is Kongo or Hunt. He will not see the UFC HW belt again though. He is just too one dimensional and the Cain fight exposed that even more.

he has A LOT to build on!
he took EVERYTHING Cain threw at him and still stood for the final bell..

he also stood up EVERY TIME Cain dropped him, showing that even a great wrestler like Cain cannot keep him down if he so choses (to stand up).

And next time he will be stronger mentally and better prepared IMO!

I obviously cannot guarantee he will win. Cain is also great!
But IMO he will put a much better fight next time around!!!
 
There are no absolutes in the HW division, so I think he absolutely could win his belt back...against anyone. This is contingent upon him fighting a measured, balanced fight. If he walks in hoping to 1-punch everyone, he won't win his belt back.

I want to see him come back and fight like the dynamic fighter he is.
 
He's only 28, he has a long road dull of accomplishments ahead of him in MMA.
 
He deffinetely could but I wouldn't say I'm confident that he can. Cain gave him a pretty good beating for 25 minutes

Absolutely. I fully expect JDS to rebound nicely and KTFO Velasquez again.
 
Yes, but if Cain is still the champion at the time then it will be a very difficult fight.
