Aside from the impact of Islam’s superior grappling and competitive striking, JDM seemed off. Sluggish, and with weird facial expressions.

There are rumours he injured his leg in round 1 which may explain it.

Anyway, I’m excited for a rematch to really settle this once Jack and Islam win a few in the mean time and JDM patches up his holes.

I think his leg was compromised. Probably was injured and wanted to tough it out not say anything instead of icing it between rounds

He was grimacing from Islams pressure style top game. That shit squeezes the shit out of you and it completely destroyed JDMS octopus guard attempts. JDM is use to creating space then creating scrambles. Islam took him down and crushed the life out of him. He never gave him an inch of space.

Also If JDMS leg was sore it was from the low kicks. He fought a perfect fight to shut down the boxer. Leg kick him, if he kicks back shoot. Anytime he shells up shoot, and pressure pass style top game so he cant scramble
