It is possible. Islam is good on the feet, but not what I would call spectacular. Poirier was tagging him good in their fight, and JDM has even better hands, with longer range.

I think it really does boil down to if Mak can force the grappling and ground game or not. If not, I do see JDM giving him a lot of problems.

I haven't watched the fight in a while but I recall JDM jumping for guillotines and other stupid stuff, think that was more of his problem than getting "outwrestled".
