Did Election Fraud Cost Trump The Election?

How could, "election deniers", no matter what positions they hold, influence 2024? Without proof, and there won't be any, because the idea of such a massive conspiracy is ludicrous, they are no different from the idiots three years ago. What was it, over 80 lawsuits dismissed without merit?
Because State Legislatures are passing laws that make it more difficult to vote.

Do I strike you as a conspiracy theorist?

I know you think my political positions are pretty goofy, but they've been trying to pass laws that allow state legislatures to discard votes and choose their own electors.

Here's a piece on the Independent State Legislature theory, which has been discussed for quite a while and was clumsily leveraged by Trump in Georgia in an act of election tampering which is absolutely a crime.

Brookings is liberal, so ignore it if you like, and it does say the theory shouldn't allow elections to be hijacked, but keep in mind any attempt to do so will be decided by the incredibly partisan conservative supreme court supermajority. They have all said they would never allow it but these same people all said Roe was settled law.

Knowing all this, if you were a Democrat would you laugh it off as a crazy theory or would you take legal steps to make sure it doesn't happen? Red states are absolutely trying to pass laws to make this possible, and if they pull it off and the Supreme Court sides with them, it's all legal.

Thanks for the link. Taken at face value, by someone like me with no skin in the game, it appears to rule out any chance Red States could simply ignore the will of the electorate. But I can understand why it would make Liberals/Democrats nervous,

"Treason never prospers. For if it prospers, none dare call it treason"

I wish someone could explain to me how exactly a bunch of morons meandering through the capitol could have possibly led to "overthrowing the government"

HOOOOOOWWW????

If you want to see how governments are overthrown, refer to the countries where those congress members fund full on violent coups in. It's not a bunch of hillbillies wandering around with flags.

Jan 6th was laughably tame.

It doesn't have to make sense when you control the media. You just say chit and people believe it.

They weren't sent there to overthrow the government. They were sent there to delay the certification of the election. There was a plot for a soft coup that would be nullified if the election was certified.

Why don't you ask the purpose of Trump throwing a rally at that date, time, and location? And then he literally sent them to the Capitol.

How did he literally sent them to the building? You would have thought he would have been charge with all this evidence right ..

Don’t worry they are still pushing the propaganda

LOL @ "Soft Coup"...

There was absolutely nothing to be accomplished other than protest. Nothing COULD be accomplished, which is why there was a couple hour delay and all of the congress members were back in that building business as usual the same exact day.

Total "Nothing Burger" to use Shitlib terminology...

Except for the fake electors that were sent by some states and the dozens of lawmakers that were voting not to accept the results of the election.

It was never written to allow the override, but a lot of extreme conservatives believe it will work; Steve Bannon has spoken on it several times.

The obvious path to victory is getting this to the Supreme Court, who cannot be overruled and could literally decide the fate of the country in one vote.

It's scary to think that a SCOTUS Justice's wife was lobbying for State Legislatures to go along with the plot.
