Hmmmmmm, first time I heard of this. And not the same equivalent. Ryan doesn’t make much money. Harden does. And that’s just for starters.

Wait, Ryan also works for the NJ Governor and legislature?

Even calling this a false comparison doesn’t go far enough. Athletes and entertainers have been leaving CA and NYC for years for tax purposes and other reasons.

This is entirely different than leaving your boss because of his political leanings.
 
There’s nothing wrong with choosing who you earn millions upon millions for. Harden spent a majority of his life developing these skills and through that hard work has garnered the freedom to make a choice who else profits from them.

Nothing to be triggered about.

Oh', that's coming. Houston doesn't realize it yet, but they dodged a bullet having Harden turn down that ridiculous contract. I don't know what owners are thinking offering that kind of money with an uncertain future. They're not starting back up in December because they want to. The league is bleeding money. They all are, and they better hope the dwindling interest in them is an anomaly and not a trend. No gate revenue and low ratings is not sustainable for them.

Any reductions will be due to covid and lack of in person fans and shortened seasons not because a few triggered righties from states without teams say they aren't watching (because they never did before)

Coincidence? Lol ratings are down due to delayed start, no fans and neutral court playoffs. baseball and hockey had no BLM stuff and their ratings were down too. Why?

But I'm the lemming? Parler and OAN said ratings were down from BLM!!1!1

Baseball most certainly did have BLM stuff. Quit talking out of your ass. All the leagues did to varying degrees. They all postponed games due to that father of the year, Jacob Blake getting shot, which saw ratings sharply decline even further. Hard to get too invested in the season, when they're threatening to shut it down every time some cop shoots a black guy.

MLB did little to promote blm like the NBA. You left out NHL, why?

No, MLB had logos on the field, promotional videos, etc, etc. They just didn't go overboard with it, like the NBA. I did not leave out the NHL. I said all leagues postponed games due to Jacob Blake. That includes the NHL. They also a big BLM ceremony, and created a diversity watchdog group over the whole thing. It wasn't as smothering as the NBA, but it was there all the same interfering with the sport.

People don't like politics being infused into sports. It's common knowledge. The numbers don't lie. The NBA has already announced that they won't be plastering the court with BLM shit this season, and will leave politics at the door. Why do you think that is, genius?
