To be fair... Their walk weights are cruiser weight and boxing doesn't have the same degree of weight cutting as MMA.

Julio is washed out though. Tbh I'm not sure it's impossible that Jake Paul wins against Anderson Silva.
Now every MMA guy is jumping on the Silva boxing bandwagon because the guy looked somewhat good lmao.
I think Jake Paul could KO silva no problem.

Silva is washed too. He's 11 years older with little pro boxing experience. Why would a 35 year old Chavez with 59 pro fights be more washed than a 46 year old Silva with 2 pro fights?

Your crazy if you think Jake would KO Silva no problem. Dude it took Jake 14 rounds to land a shot on Woodley....14 fucking rounds on a manlet wrestler who cannot box(he doesn't even understand boxing fundamentals that kids have). Silva is 6'2" with a far bigger reach.....dude we are talking apples to oranges here. Jake's team will not allow him to fight Silva.

Also Chávez beats Jake Paul easily

I think all this shows is that uneducated fans are delusional about what it means to be an "MMA fighter". They have it in their head that Jake Paul is just a "youtuber" and therefore should get beat up, when in reality your previous profession doesn't mean much. Paul is a big semi athletic guy that literally has fuck you money to throw and train boxing full time with world class boxers for the past 3-4 years. Anyone that has that kinda resources and dedication can become decent.

Also what does being a youtuber have to do with anything. GSP was a garbage man before he started competing, Rich Franklin was an teacher, and Shane Carwin has an engineering degree. What was Derrick Lewis before he started MMA, he was an ex-con not doing much.

Also consider this, BJ Penn was just some rich boy from Hawaii that decided to train BJJ full time, and 3 years later he was a black belt and was beating really great grapplers in the world championship.

that’s true. What he’s doing is impressive though. He just started boxing as an adult for a couple years and is koing mma champs.
And it’s on a huge stage which is impressive in itself.

people make it seem like anyone can pick up a pair of gloves train for 2 years and whoop a 38 year old woodley. In front of 20 thousand people live and millions of people watching.

sure the guys an idiot. I’ve enjoyed all of his fights so far. And this last fight was the first time rooting for him to see how far he can run with this.

watching fights is for entertainment and he’s done that.
 
I noticed he never called out a single MW/LHW. He’s fighting at 190+ and calling out LWs lol.

Can you explain why that is? Youtube punk has no bearing on someone's skill at a sport. Lebron can start a youtube channel tomorow and does he forget to play basketball.
 
JP is arguably the biggest star in boxing, bigger than Fury or Canelo at this point lol. This is a bigger embarrassment to boxing than it is to MMA.

Twood is a guy who got cut for losing nearly 20 rounds in a row in his own sport (MMA). He's also almost 40 years old. No way does Tyrone represent MMA.
 
The more independent promotions there are the better. The UFC is keeping nearly all the money generated by their fighters, over 80% of revenue for the last decade. UFC fighters are getting table scraps.

I'd prefer someone like Woodley who's nearly 40 years old and fought at the highest level of the UFC for 16 fights doesn't need to take celebrity boxing matches, but thats how bad the pay is. Doing this bouts presents life changing money for a former UFC world champion.

Until there is enough pressure to fix the atrocious revenue split UFC fighters are getting, people like Paul can say this stuff with a straight face. He doesn't need to ask these guys to fight, they want the deal. It's substantially more money.

Most people don't have 10's of millions of dollars at age 20 to train full time boxing for 3 years with world class trainers and world champion sparring partners. I respect his dedication to the sport, but let's not act like anyone has the type of resource he has.

Also people overate how MMA translates to boxing in general. It's hilarious when people think just because Askren can drag people down in MMA and wrestling he can somehow box.

Ouch...not a good look for us MMA'ers here. These Youtube punks are not former greats in the Realm of boxing though now were they? Your example using LeBron falls flat on its face because he is one of the best ever to have played - these youtubers have never even fought another Pro Boxer.....leagues apart

If you have no idea what you are talking about why are you posting. Tyson Fury brother was going to fight him, and pulled out from injury. An injury he proved by showing x rays. Tyson Fury would KO him any time he wanted with his eyes closed.

I think Anderson Silva will take that fight, and so will Jake Paul.
Only people Paul is scared of are actual full time boxers that train.
