Well I was hoping Shavkat was fighting Belal.

But this is the next best thing. Love Jack hope he wins.

Belal is hard fight for anyone though.

I'll be rooting for JDM like 90% of us, for the sole reason that I was hyped to see JDM vs Shavkat for a title.

JDM, Shavkat, Prates, Fluffy, Morales are all interesting additions to 170 and arguably the emerging generation as guys like Kamaru, Belal, Wonderboy, Colby, and Luque slowly drift from the rankings as they should.

I think Jack wins all-ways. Either a KO or a decision win I think he just has more dog in him. Glad he's getting a turn, Shavkat is obviously reserved next.

Welterweight is going to be stagnant this year unless belal stays busy. Guys like Garry and Buckley will have to fight 1 more time before an eliminator as things look right now. Unless they make shavkat fight.

Belal.

JDM's grappling is too suspect to confidently bet on him imo.

Belal is boring but crimanally underrated. I get it that he isn't the most charismatic champ and maybe palestinians are not getting much love these days, but dayum, this guy had to fight a lot of top dudes for his shot and still gets no love. I think Belal take this, but like many, I too and underwhelmed by WW right now.

Considering how easily Bassel Hafez and Burns were taking him down, I think Belal has a real shot if he commits to the wrestling.

The problem is Belal's age and lack of finishing ability. If he can't submit or KO JDM, he risks getting caught in the later rounds like he did in the Leon fight. Remember, JDM was losing until he landed the flying knee at the end on Burns.

Pulling for Jack, but I think Belal wins a boring decision.

As Faith No More once said

It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it (Belal's a tough fight for anyone)

War JDM! The division becomes more interesting with a win.

Il go for JDM , he has a whole another level of boxing … he can do it

I think I slightly have JDM as a favourite. I think it could go either way but I think I slightly like JDM.

53/47 JDM.

But oh wow, Belal is a big favourite lol.

For me, it's more like a toss up. Hard to pick the winner.

It's concerning that Burns got him down 7 times, Belal certainly has at least the same level of wrestling as Burns. Hafez went 3 for 20, that gives a bit more confidence JDM can defend TDs.

I am sure he's heavily working on this one for the fight. I am going with Belal by decision to be safe. But won't be surprised if JDM TKO's him or wins a decision. If it goes to the judges it will be a close fight.

Belal probably sniff JDM's crotch for five hounds, but I hope the latter gets the w.
