If you can believe Big John. He seems to have an axe to grind. Didn't he say that the UFC has nothing to do with choosing the refs when he was reffing in the UFC?

UFC is trying to appeal to an international audience. Things like tattoos in many countries are huge deals. What do some more conservative countries when they see Beltran's "moustache" on TV? It makes perfect sense to get rid of that and refs with visible tattoos on international events.

It's unfortunate that cultures are so ridiculous.

They really have no say what another human does with their own body.

To be so judgy of someone based on how they look says more about these people than the people they are judging.

They should probably try being better humans.
 
Same reason they won't let Mini Brock ref anymore either, because he is dwarf version of Brock Lesnar and can easily push the fighters around and bully them. think his name is Copeland or something. but always Mini Brock to me.

Well for the most part its still true!
Abu Dhabi does not have an athletic comission so everything there is run by the UFC!
Judges Refs everything is hand picked by the UFC!
I guess Dana wants to be the only baldie in the Ring!

How's that ridiculous. Tattoos is many countries really do mean this guy's a criminal. If you don't want to be judged, don't get permanent tattoos or have a 2 foot long moustache. Those are all personal choices that have consequences.
