Media Izzy threw the first bal for the Marlins Miami

Lmao, I was expecting something similar to 50 Cent’s attempt at a pitch.

Or actually Carl Lewis:

If you combine the vectors of their distance and lateral throwing; you'd get a perfect strike lmao

I love when they do it since I'm a fan of the MLB as well, I wished he would had done it in a different stadium tho, the Miami stadium is always fucking empty because that team fucking sucks... But I understand they did it because they fight this weekend is there

Jesus fucking Christ. I understand I just read sherdog because it’s hilarious and never comment, but a baseball fan shouldn’t misspell “ball”. It’s literally one of the first words a toddler learns in the US. If you are foreign, apologies. 2nd, Izzy throwing out the pitch with his shirt open is horrible.

lol you've clearly never been to Miami if you're getting this upset about an unbuttoned shirt.

True. I’m actually in Daytona at the moment and I understand the culture. Just doing that at a “professional” event bothers me. I have no problem with the natural leather the locals have developed

Yeah I came into this thread expecting something super cringe, but he actually threw a decent pitch and seemed to make reference to what an actual baseball pitcher would do leaning in for the sign, checking for an imaginary runner on 1st like he actually had followed the sport and mechanics.

Surprised because most American non-baseball people are helpless throwing as-is, let alone foreigners from his region.
I was a pretty decent pitcher in my day topping around 87 with a huge hook curve, but gave it up after HS; too much time and bro-culture commitment to toil on some low level college team or bulk/roid myself into the competitive echelons.
Same. I had a college ride. Touched 90 on the fastball, threw a nasty circle change(Braves fan), and a 12-6 curve. Unfortunately I had one huge deficit….Vagina
Damn, I didn’t do it right…”on teh fastball”

Yes, I am a foreign but it was a typo

Don’t worry, the second L is coming this weekend.

Lmaooo

He walks out with an unbuttoned shirt and a pink comb sticking out of his hat.

Pfp most annoying ufc fighter. Remember when all the fighters wanted to be warriors? View attachment 977128

Yes, Phil yes I do remember. How can one forget? As one might currently contemplate just how wussified one might look merely taking teh jab....meanwhile Warrior Wang is fucking cage fighting in communist China with a full on case of covid (called it corona back in the day, same shit)
The only way someone can get around these post modern stigmas is by "stylebending" (what the author believes)

This is truly why sthe pearl choker is so important my friend. And why it was so important for me personally to make sure Israel was indeed wearing it during that historic pitch .

If Jones had had a pearl choker on I believe he would have dunked that basketball . All I'm saying

If you grow up in Oz or NZ (as Izzy did from age 10) you learn to throw by playing cricket. It's not the main focus like baseball but it's the entire basis of fielding/defence.
