shit take. Izzy didn’t put anybody out until last night. The bell exists, and you have to work around it. Izzy is 1-3 against Alex in sports that include knockouts and he’s still only even in MMA knockouts with him.
Stop doing that causal “he got lucky” shit. It’s only insulting to both of them.

I don't think it is actually what they expect. I think they simply apply those criticisms when they don't like someone. Many here decided, from the beginning, that they didn't like Izzy.

Are you that terrible of a poster that I have to add you to the ignore list or are you going to add some sort of context to your post? And you’re right they aren’t even, Izzy is 1-3 against him. They’re only even in MMA after trading knockouts. Izzy’s was nicer, but the ref saved him from brain damage in the first mma fight. Izzy’s KO was beautiful.

I quoted you because losing the first three fights doesn't matter at this point. Alex doesn't care if he's 3-1 he got ktfo and lost his belt. Only an idiot would go on about the previous three and ignore what just happened.

The ref saved Pereira from being in the obituaries this morning

They're 2-2 across both sports because anyone who has 2 functioning eyes knows Izzy won one of the KB fights.

Izzy won the last fight and all that matters is MMA, not a completely different sport.

1-1 and Izzy won the last one. It's on Pereira to earn a rematch and revenge at this point. izzy's a 1st ballot hall of famer. Pereira will be nothing but a flash in the pan if he doesn't come back from this

Yawn. 0-2 in kickboxing, 1-1 in MMA with exchanged knockouts. Cry all you want about judging but he still has the L, they are not “2-2,” that’s retarded. We don’t adjust everyone’s records based on what we think the judges got wrong, that’s tedious and subjective.

Alex is the ONLY person to beat Izzy at 185 and Izzy has already beat everyone of consequence at 185 but Alex at 35 needs to climb back to the top? At that point the fight isn’t even interesting anymore because he’ll be 37?

im not even an immediate rematch guy but this fight makes sense. Even if you believe they’re “2-2” across all sports it makes even more sense. I swear some of Izzy fans are absolutely petrified that Alex beats him in a rematch.

I’m a fan of both but I’m a bigger fan of good fights and all of their fights have been stellar to watch.

Disagree. Izzy is the more skilled technical fighter. Alex has better physical attributes. Like durability and power.

??? If he got dominated for 5 rounds I’d get it more. They exchanged KO’s in MMA. Alex is 35, Father Time is knocking down that door. What does waiting do other than protect Izzy from the only person who ever beat him? (At 185)

Considering Izzy was ahead in the second kickboxing match and then got koed. He was ahead in the first mma fight and got stopped.

if it’s a video game here’s how I see it.
Striking skill. Izzy 98 Alex 95. Close but edge to Izzy. Durability Izzy 90 Alex 92. Ko power Izzy 85 Alex 95.

Who is ignoring what just happened? That doesn't erase the other fights, still 3-1 and 2-1 in finished with one less than a year ago, saying it doesn't matter its dumb, that's combat sports history.
 
If Izzy doesn't take the immediate rematch like Poatan, who had just pushed his shit in for the 3rd time in a row




That's cool, Izzy got 1 back after getting whooped by Peireira in the first round, and badly hurt in the second, now that he's 1-3 we can have a tie-breaker in the UFC, if Adesanya has the balls to give Poatan a rematch, just like Alex did.

But I think we all know Izzy doesn't have the balls, he took that fight because he had to if he wanted the belt, but now will run with that W and forever duck the man who destroyed him 3 times.

Now we'll see Izzy's character. If he fine with having the most recent win, even if he lost 3 in a row before that, or will be chase the MMA tie-breaker and prove to himself and the world that this 4th fight wasn't a fluke?
