It seems like Islam vs Illia is happening

Today in an interview with Complex Dana was asked if they'll make Islam vs Usman & Dana had a really strange answer, he said it's too early to say because we have to wait till Illia decides what he wants to do, in an ideal world Illia will fight the winner of Gaethje & Paddy but you never know.

In another interview in Georgia a Georgian journalist asked Merab if he wants to see Islam vs Illia & Merab says that he recently spoke to Illia, & Islam vs Illia can happen sooner than people think.

Another hint about this fight happening is Arman Tsarukyan who is on a media tour. Arman has said in atleast 3 different streams that he is hoping to fight for the title in June which is almost impossible unless Illia vacates or they make Paddy or Justin defend the interim.

DC has also hinted several times that there is a reason why Arman us not upset about not fighting for the title in January & there's something going on in the background which people aren't aware of.

Illia has been consistently posting training videos when he's supposed to be on a hiatus. I've always maintained that divorce & custody proceedings can take years and there's no way Illia is taking a break till the custody battle is over which might takes over a year. Meanwhile Illia has been hanging out with Merab, training & continuing to buy fake Instagram followers.

Personally I have literally no interest in this fight anymore, I don't want to see Illia at 170 and I don't want to see Makhachev at 155. Illia vs Arman is a much better fight.

I honestly don’t think UFC wants it. Both are some of their most marketable guys right now, they’d rather neither loses. If they really wanted it, they wouldn’t have let Islam jump up into a title shot when they did. And now they don’t even have to sell PPVs so it’s even less incentive.
