After reading all the replies, basically the left doesn't want to cut SHIT and just want things to keep going as they are.

So you're thinking of eliminating 99% of the Federal Government for the very small percentage of people and you don't expect 1% to do a lot of lifting? Interesting. I hope in your thinking that companies always pay a fair wage to keep up with the costs of living or when banks or credit unions fail that the state can pick up the slack, or there's relief funding somewhere during natural disasters.

Also, I'm not sure what a government under your thinking would do during hard economic downturns like 2008. In any case, the whole lift yourself up by your boot straps slogan is such a crap slogan used by Republicans. It's so overused but I do agree with you ending military bases overseas. My only question is who is going to train these engineers to repair America if the Federal Government cuts all this funding you speak of? Surely, you won't leave it to states like Arkansas, Louisiana, West Virginia and Oklahoma to make your engineers, or would you?

We're seeing how much of that money is being wasted now. You could probably cut 70% of government spending and no one would even notice.

I'm against fraud as well. But establishing that fraud exists requires more than just a twitter announcement and a handful of screenshots.

What we've seen so far is an announcement that money is being sent to something or someone. Then those payments are labelled fraud by the same people announcing the existence of the money transfer. But that's not fraud.

Every dollar the government spends is supposed to be attached to a Congressional spending decision or comes from discretionary funds the President has access to for limited purposes (again, pre-determined by Congress). So far, there have been very little produced that explains why the spent money isn't going where Congress said it should go to or where a prior President had the authority to send it.

Instead, when people dislike the recipient of the money they easily accept the claim of fraud and have not done their due diligence of asking for proof.

Establish the fraud with evidence and I'm all for acting on that. But I don't believe fraud when the only claim is unsubstantiated and uncorroborated statements on social media.

To be fair the Dems did not push any of these guys away. I would say Bernie Sanders got pushed away far more than these guys.

• Fetterman campaigned to the left and then proceeded to vote and support the exact things that people on the left are against such as supporting Israel's recent war. He changed his views after he got in office.
