It boggles my mind that JDS is @ -160

-160 is really low considering the outcome of the first match.

I will bet for JDS for $100 (and 500vCash!)

I never thought cain was very good honestly, I never thought he was the number 1 HW ever at any time, even while holding the belt.

he won the belt and gained the rank as number one HW by beating brock lesnar....which doesn't make you as great a fighter as people say cain is.

also chiek kongo rocked cain with like every punch, then got a takedown on him. I don't see why JDS and really any top HW should have a problem with cain.

Um do you remember the almost no chance prediction of Cain beating Brock? Before that fight no one was beating Brock

almost had me thinking, but I personally don't think much of brocks standup, staying on the feet he would lose to jds just as bad as cain or worse. I am sure most of this will be on the feet, jds ground training probably consists alot of using bjj to avoid punches and just try to create space and get back up. I think cain could finish jds but it just seems likely he'll get finished first

the scary thing is that we've never seen JDS on his back. Maybe he's got a great offense off his back, or he's really good at getting up. Cain is a long shot to ever beat him imo. But we really won't know until/unless he gets him to the mat

Yes we have:

Meh Cain is only fighting him because dana wants to tap the latino(hispanic market, not brazilian/portuguese) market and also jds is out of contenders, while he only got 1 defense he basically cleaned the division before holding the title

He got a chance but he most likely will get knocked out and will never fight for a title again

JDS was a bit gassed vs carwin. You can't deny that.

I disagree.
From where I saw, when Junior noticed he would gas (and the ref wouldn't stop the fight), he took a step back and maintained his pace.

It was the opposite of gassing. He was very self-aware and didn't allow himself to gas.

I am not a huge fan but people need to understand this..

Cain is a great great fighter... I don't think anyone but JDS can beat him at HW.. So this could still go either way..

Watch the fight with Nelson he was definately gassed. If Cain can secure the TD this time and work some of his nasty GNP, it could be a whole different fight..

THATS WHEN U PUT MONEY ON JDS

Im still looking for a Palay to give a even money

While im Sure he willl win im not sure he will finish Cain

A black belt doesn't carry the mystique it did in the '80's. A red and black belt (7th degree Jiu Jitsu) is needed to carry that level of intimidation. Does anyone fight with a 7th degree?

Theres only 3 good hws in the world according to this guy and everyone else sucks.

Why are you a fan again?

I'm a fan that's not delusional about the state of the HW division. Until new contenders come out of the woodwork's I really dont see anyone challenging DC, Reem, or Dos Santos. Who else do you think has a chance to beat these three? Mir, Kongo, Werdum? Cain is probably 4th ranking but the gap between him and the top 3 is huge. I can't wait for the bandwagon fan base to abandon ship come 155 once he gets a 2nd KO loss. He won't be able to challenge JDS a 3rd time if that happens and he will be stuck in a Fitch like state until someone else KO's him and he looses relevance completely.

He punched himself out even more against Big Country when he threw everything but the kitchen sink at him.

He took three or four VICIOUS hooks from Kongo, and he had recovered every single time before he had reached crouching position, YEAH that's some glass jaw homie, how fucking retarded are you on a scale from 1-10? 12?

JDS hit him SQUARE in the temple last time (take a basic human anatomy course), our temple is located nowhere near our jaw you moronic donkey, and even then he never even went out fully, he was completly coherent when Herb Dean stepped in, every single punch he takes while on the ground hit the same spot as when he was standing, THE TEMPLE, NOT THE JAW.

My favorite post of the day.

It also boggles my mind TS that bookies know the fight game way fucking better than fans do. I guess they have to though or they wouldn't be able to make money from you tards.

They know how to manipulate the odds to cover themselves, dictated by how people are betting. The fact that the odds aren't very skewed doesnt mean the bookies think it's even, it just means plenty of people are putting money on Cain so they didnt have to offer crazy odds

A few facts:

1) Nobody has been able stop Cains takedowns.
2) JDS is a brazillian striker--not exactly known for their TDD
4) JDS trians grappling under the Nog brothers, just like anderson... which is not exactly a recipe for success when facing a top-caliber wrestler.

This fight will be one-sided, either JDS will KTFO him again, or Cain will brutally demolish JDS on the ground.

To try and compare the skills of JDS with any skill level of Anderson. It is ridiculous to do so. Anderson is just on a whole different level. It doesnt matter if they train under the same guy.

We know that Anderson is awesome on the ground....JDS not so much.

Haha, knock Cain down the rankings? To what, 3? That's some delusional stuff. Cain is still JDS' biggest threat, the first fight only showed us one possible outcome.

How can Cain be JDS biggest threat when we have already seen Cain get KTFO by JDS???? That says to me that he is NOT the biggest threat at all or he would have smashed JDS the first time or at least gave him a good fight.

All Cain did was get KTFO by JDS...and you call that the biggest threat. I hate to see what you consider a easy fight.

Haha, did you even see the first fight? 3 strikes and you're out...

Wow, weak troll attempt or do we really need to question your argument skills?

1) JDS stopped Cain's takedown already.
2) JDS has been on his back in the UFC less time than it takes me to piss. Great TDD.
3) JDS hasn't had to demonstrate his ground game because of the above. And your Anderson comparison, are you serious? That BJJ training from the Nogs won him the first fight against Chael, a top-caliber wrestler.

I'd say eat crow, but there's already a foot in the way.
