Why does he need specific credentials to be deemed as having "good wrestling or grappling". WHy not watch the fights rather than base a fighter on his credentials? Jan actually has very effective wrestling, black belt in BJJ and seem's to have won some polish tournaments.

When he has 40 lbs on Izzy aswell, no wonder he used his grappling, he knew it'd work, Jan has very underrated grappling, you don't have to say has doesn't have "any real wrestling" to try and make it seem like Izzy's lost to a can just because you clearly aren't an Izzy fan.

Jan is legit, anyone that's watched him the last few years would agree.

All I'm saying is that as dominant wrestler/grapplers come around he'll probably lose most of those fights if the UFC doesn't set him up favorably. Jan is alright in that department but can you imagine what a real wrestler/grappler would do to him?

Facts. When was the last time a male champ got more than 5 title defenses? Last I recall it was Mighty Mouse, and out of all the champs I think only Usman will have a lengthy reign.
 
Gynosanya simply isn't a well rounded MMA fighter.

He can defend takedowns against the cage from certain fighters.

He can't wrestle and he has nothing off his back

Jan showed that he can be taken down during the striking exchanges and held down quite easily. Yes Jan was the heavier guy but he isn't even considered a wrestler , now some of the focus to beat Gyno wil be takedowns. Once somebody like him loses that aura of being unbeatable he starts to become more and more beatable to other fighters.

Yes Gynosanya still has the belt at middleweight but he can't be considered p4p just because of his kickboxing skills he isn't well rounded enough at this stage.

The thing is he had no choice but take the defeat. Out of all the fighters in the roster he now looks like a tool because he called out Jones so many times disrespected Jones and went up and lost to a guy who he thought he could easily beat which dam across as disrespectful. That wasn't Jones. Now he looks like a tool because he got outstruck , taken down and was on his back in the last two rounds by a guy he cherry picked. There were 10-8 rounds so fight wasn't even close.

His comments were ill go up to lhw and get the belt like Jan was some easy beat.

Now he has to be humble because he got humbled he now knows if Jan was able to do that him Jones would murder him.

Because you took it literally as Izzy thought he already was and that's why you made this crybaby thread, that's on you.

You said Jan has no grappling or wrestling credentials so it's pretty clear you don't actively know what you're talking about. You also said Anderson had to rely so heavily on BJJ, another evidence you again, have no clue what you're talking about.

You've literally got upset because a fighter said "he wanted to become GOAT" eventually.
 
really not that big of a deal going up in weight class and losing. same if gsp lost at 185 etc.

First time hes ever been taken since F knows when, and it was by a guy 20lb heavier, after Izzy had already stuffed 2
Then once on the ground, Izzy kept busy defending and trying to escape such that in 5 mins on the bottom - under a BJJ black belt (izzy has only just got his purple) who is 20 lb heavier - Jan could only get position to throw strikes in the last 20 seconds?

How is someone at middleweight going to take him down in the first place, and then keep him down?
If they aren't picked apart first?

Best pure kickboxing skills in the game.And his frame and weight support those skills perfectly, however his grappling and wrestling skills seemed average..

He oddly disinterested tbh. Wasn't at his usual output, wasn't really a machine like he usually is.

Honestly kind of looked like they had a gentleman's agreement not to hurt each other too much.
