It's odd isn't it? We usually have roughly 45% hype machine fans who go OTT saying how great they are, 45% haters who want to underplay everything they do and point to the few weak points/unknowns and about 10% normal people who just want to watch good fights.
 
He is not like the new conor.
Conor was already CW 2 division champ, start is road in ufc murdering every opponent easily, making prediction, picking the round and, he destroyed an entire division.
How is adesanya similar to conor?
Struggle against vettori mean that you are the new champ?

lol just rewatching the fight, herb dean is so corrupt man. im not gonna list the million of suspect things he's done in the passed but a really obvious one that happened yesterday was as soon as israel took one bad clean punch he stopped the fight to "check if they had their mouth guards" that was clearly to give israel a second to recover he was watching the whole time no ref has ever made that mistake before and its clear no mouthguard went flying.
 
The wrestlers might maul him, there's talk of Weidman next, interesting stuff.

Conor was much more impressive. Size advantage, favorable match-making, yeah all that. But he was talking a big talk and making the walk. During his run, he never had snoozers. And this is coming from someone who's disparaged Conor at every opportunity.

Being beatable by the champ and number 1 contender???? Where's the shame in that? Also, they're beatable for him too, so what's your point?

As for the rest of the list, they had their chances. Weidman has a series of losses, Yoel lost 2 title matches, Jacare always loses the big #1 contender matches and Rockhold said he's moving top LHW.

With the injury cancellations and people missing weight at 185 a tournament wouldn't be the best idea. With the fact that the UFC hasn't had a tournament in well over a decade, you're hoping for something that will never happen.

Also, you didn't actually respond to anything I said. Your OP is off.

its not his fault, he just fights who ever the UFC gives them. That's a dumb reason to hate someone, so just because a fighter no matter how good they are gets the number one contender spot quickly means they will automatically lose to every top contender..... ok???
