Definitely the US has played their part in creating this situation. So has Israel. But since were here, and I'm pretty sure Iran would nuke the fuck out of us if they could, I'm glad their shit got wrecked.

I mean, I get what you mean. I think its best to just de-escalate the situation and put pressure on them to stop funding Hamas/Hezbollah if they want to survive, we lift sanctions and increase trade with them to get them to chill out.

I think Iran desperately needs new leadership, for the benefit of the Iranian people. They can't keep funding terrorist groups to wage proxy wars and not expect to get hit.

We thought the same for Iraqis and the Baathist Regime or Afghans and the Taliban. Both countries were easier to fix than Iran was because we were not dealing with such rugged terrain and both had longer histories of resembling remote secularism. It is hard to argue that Iran is given all the Islamic Laws in place right now for the past 40 yrs..
