So was Israel when US inspectors went in to inspect their nuclear facilities. The United States did not want Israel to have nukes, just nuclear reactors for energy use. Of course, the Israelis, did not give two-shits regarding what the Americans wanted and ran two separate nuclear programs. The Israelis also stole U-235 from US nuclear reactors in the mid 60s. So, the Israelis got their nuclear bomb and continue to not give two-shits regarding what Americans want. Hence the bombing of Iran last Friday without notifying the White House. Now they want US support?
