International Israel - Iran Conflict: PEACE DEAL CONFIRMED

Choose the following that best describes your position

  • Total voters
    362
  • Poll closed .
We should be expecting some pretty entertaining responses to this post from the most unimaginably gullible fucks who post on Sherdog. "Nono, that is not possible because they signed the JCPOA and they really said they weren't doing it and seemed, like, really friendly and stuff!!!" <lol>
But they never mention that Biden lifted sanctions and gave them money. Our politicians are a joke. All of them.

You got conned bro.

WTF? You're delusional. People can literally justify voting for Trump because the Democrats sucked so entirely bad.

Conned is:
  • having a senile President and a nation run by un-elected Democrat officials and an autopen.
  • not having a Primary, and told who your candidate is.
  • having the MSM report on one party at a 90% negative rate and the other party at a 90% positive rate... and it's been happening for years.
  • having the borders wide open and told they are secure.
  • having run away inflation and told it's temporary by Democrats and their senile puppet.
You shouldn't talk to other people about being "conned". You're a sucker.

I guess I would vote "YES" in the poll, but with an asterisk.

I would be fine with U.S. Air / Navy power doing it's thing from a distance, but not with any troops on the ground. I can't stand the Iranian regime and think if they were removed it would become a much better place... as would the rest of the Middle East.

I work in the Nuclear Weapon industry. We cannot afford to let those assholes have a bomb and ballistic missiles. When they constantly chant "Death to America" and "Death to Israel"... it's a non-starter for me. They are the catalyst for much of the death and misery throughout the Middle East.

So? Whats that got to do with us? Should we fight for Iran?

We aren't fighting for Ukraine either. Giving them weapons and "fighting for them" are two different things.

And before you ask -- no, we shouldn't give Iran weapons because they aren't an ally.

The way you stop this war is to cut off aid to Israel is don't cease immediately.

Im betting everything that even if ww3 starts everyone will be expected to show up at work next morning

"We at [Company] understand the uncertainty we are facing with the news today that WWIII has begun. At [company] we must remain dedicated during the coming days, weeks, and months and each of you play a crucial role in upholding our mission. As a current head of HR, I can 100% attest we may at least get one afternoon off after a nuclear strike.

Israeli air defence has left the building, there's barely anything shooting up. Looks like the latest wave is mostly newer missiles, doesn't look as fast as the ones that took out the Israeli MoD and Haifa refineries & power plant but way faster than the older missiles they were using to swamp the defence in the first couple days.

Iran just hit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem again. Israel air defense tonight again hitting itself and malfunctioning. Israel drone attack in Tehran. Some footage of iranian air defense fighting it.

Hot dogs, chips, popcorn, and Cokes while we all watch "Apocalypse Now" on the big outdoor screen. Come one, come all. A good time to be had by all attending. Attendance, food and drinks are free.

I guess the one positive is if it's anything like Vietnam at least we'll get some classic movies out of it.

The U.S. will enter into this war by this weekend, at the latest. Too much going on that I see no strategic purpose for, unless we are about to start shooting. So allow me, while high, to use my whopping 5-years of active duty to pontificate on said subject:

-On Saturday we silently move about half of our whole mid-air refueling squadrons to Europe. The news picks up on it a day or two later.

US bolsters Trump's Middle East military options by moving refueling aircraft, officials say

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us...-refueling-aircraft-officials-say-2025-06-16/

-Now our intelligence agencies are telling overseas commanders to prepare for potential strikes from Iran against US bases in the region. The push this to the press today.

Iran Is Preparing Missiles for Possible Retaliatory Strikes on U.S. Bases, Officials Say

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/17/us/politics/iran-israel-us-bases.html

This makes no strategic sense, if you're Iran. Their air defense assets are straight gone. Israel controls the skies. The last Iranian missile batteries are going silent. Probably being taken out. Iran is barely holding on. The only real option, and it's a shitty one, is to throw all the ordinance at Israel proper and try to inflict enough civilian casualties that Israel will come to the table. That won't work. Bibi has his mandate and he's not stopping. The only other option would be to come begging to the international community to step in. But with the US backing Israel here, that won't get anywhere.
But why fire at US bases? That guarantees America entering. No way and egomaniac like trump backs down, nor, should he. Unless the Iranians think he'll blink like he did after the retaliation for Soleimani. But that was never meant to grow in scope for the Trump administration.

This had to have been planned, with full US support, for at least a few weeks (on our end, about 3-4 years for the Israeli's). We know we redirected weapons meant for Ukraine to Israel, last month. And Trump has all but said that he knew in advance. Yet we still played the Iranians along with our nuclear talks. Knowing, at least for the past month we've been talking to them, that Israel was gonna hit those sites.

So the deal then? Israel has to take on the biggest risk by knocking out all their air defense assets and weapons sites. Also makes since, as Israel has runways a whole lot closer to Iran. If they pull that off, we'll use our high-altitude bombers to take out the sites the Israeli's lacked the ordinance for. Bibi gets his war, and lets Trump do a victory dance and claim as much credit as he wants for "winning."

TL/DR:

US enters into the war by this weekend, or I transition.
