My educated guess of the ops plan. Strike group 1 will be the fighters and EW planes from the US & UK carriers parked somewhere off the coast of Oman. They'll be refueled by tankers over Saudi Arabia before going through Kuwait or Iraq to hit Iran. 2nd strike group will be Israeli fighters plus possible US reinforcements, they'll refuel over Iraq before hitting Iran from the west. Final group is the US strategic bombers coming in from the Mediterranean Sea to drop the bunker busters on Iran's underground nuclear facilities.

The fighter groups will try to clear all the air defences right before the bombers come in, timing on this is gonna be a bitch. There's 2 large strike groups of fighters which all need to be refueled and ready to go while the bombers are somewhere over the Med. The big unknown is which bombers the US uses for this proposed plan, B-2s would be ideal but I'm not sure the US is willing to risk 1/3 to 1/2 of its fleet which would be the minimum required to carry all the bunker busters. 2nd choice is 1-2 dozen B-1Bs and accepting that some will be shot down by Iran.

Then there's Mossad. They'll try to setup another hacking & sabotage operation to take down Iranian air defences around the time of strike and cause as much damage & confusion as they can.

I really hope they don't try it for real, but that's how I think they'll do it if they get the go-ahead.

What is the bomb? The video does not mention it. Like I said before, the US has no bunker penetrating bomb that can penetrate granite in a mountain. Bunker busting bombs in the inventory can only penetrate ground or concrete structures. About 200 feet. Not even a nuke can penetrate a mountain made of granite. The MOAB is not designed to penetrate anything.

Bunker busters are usually used in clusters for large hardened targets. I obviously can’t say for certain, but there is an understanding among military brass that number of well placed GBU 57s would likely do the job. You don’t need to obliterate the facility, you just need to make it inoperable and unsafe to be inside - which isn’t terribly difficult to do for an underground facility which uses highly radioactive materials and is entirely dependent on powered ventilation systems.

There was a Cold War era plan for taking out a similar facility in the Soviet Union, it involved dropping around a dozen 5 megaton nukes right on top of each other. The bombers would have to circle over the site and drop each nuke straight into the crater left by the previous one.
