Why would Iran have given the Houthis suitcase nukes worth a couple billion dollars? You realize nuclear bombs are traceable, right? As in you can tell which country or region produced them because they are chemically unique.

Nearly every single sanctions regime in modern history has failed. They are incredibly narrow and have to be used on as part of a holistic approach to foreign policy, not as the end all be all.

That wouldn't really be a nuclear deal then, would it? Iran's bet and proxy warfare in Syria was a massive loss, albeit not one that Israel or the US caused directly.

The US would be best advised to take that win at this point and just seal a nuclear deal to unfuck the mess the US and Israel created in the first place by pulling out of JCPOA and screwing over its European allies.

Fact of the matter is if a country with Iran's resources wants nuclear weapons, they will obtain them. You can't stop that militarily unless you plan on occupying the country. That's why Trump and Bibi's foreign policy has been so disastrous, it's based on false premises that fly in the face of actual successful anti-proliferation, such as South Africa.

A deal can include whatever you want in my opinion including some securities for Iran. It's been 7 years so it may be harder than you think to achieve. Israel will never support Iran given all of the meddling that Iran does. I think it's up to the US to push on them and maybe this is a good opportunity with Iran saying they want a ceasefire. Why do more people support Israel? In my anecdotal experience, I've known many Israelis and even more Muslims and not a single Israeli has supported Netanyahus actions, they have all shared sympathy for the people of Gaza who are not responsible for Hamas actions, while many, many Muslims I've talked to hold a deep, religious based hatred for Israeli people and have no sympathy for them whatsoever.

Muslims who want to kill all Jews will always be around and as long they are, Israel is always going to be on edge. I can't really fault them for that.
