Especially being he's the potential LW goat, went out undefeated looking stronger and more dominant every fight. Even if ppl disagree with him, his opinion/analysis is worth a listen
 
The thing Eugene is missing (repeatedly) is he is comparing Khabib the FIGHTER (who as he said... let all his fighting do the talking) to Khabib the PROMOTER (who can only promote by talking/promoting).

Weird that he doesn't get it but apparently most posters are confused about it to. The guy is done fighting. And no one gets pissed about Dana talking to promote, yet they keep saying "why is Khabib talking?!? Stop!"

Talking is kind of what you do as a promoter guys...
 
I think it’s more of a case that Khabib is huge so he’s constantly asked questions and it gets a lot of attention anytime he says anything. The man has opinion and shares it like anybody else, it’s just a difference in coverage.

Brunson spent four minutes trying to take Izzy down and went 0 for 7 on TDs before Izzy lit him up.

Izzy doesn't have bad TDD against guys his size.

Whittaker is an interesting opponent because he's so well rounded, but I think that people are grossly overestimating his chances based on performances where he had easy stylistic match ups.

Brunson's only legit losses are to guys who were the absolute cream of the division at the time he fought them.

It's amazing that it took until the Edmen fight for people to realize that he's good.

Khabib fought 8 times over a period of 7 years and pulled out of an interim title fight (UFC 209 against Tony) less than 4 hours before weigh-ins because he was going to miss weight.

Islam has pulled out of 5 different fights in the UFC.

No. Derek Brunson will get knocked out before he even gets a hold of Izzy. You need some stand up game to implement your wrestling and Derek lacks the former. There's a reason people are overlooking him and prefer to see Izzy fight Khamzat.

Isn't there some stat that for trilogy fights, many of the overall losers usually won the first fight, then lost the next two? I remember it being thrown around for the 3rd Stipe/DC fight. So winning the first fight don't mean jack shit. Look at DC destroying (eye pokage) Stipe in the first fight, only to get obliterated in the next 2. So yeah, your logic so stupid.

Or he hasn’t fought the likes of Costa, Hermansson, Vettori or Gastelum. Although, two of them may no longer compete in the middleweight division.
