Does Khabib Talk too Much Now?

I never bought the humbleness schtick anyway. Not that I'm bothered by it. I was just not really under the illusion that he was that much different from most other fighters when it came to that.

After Khabib left, he talked so much crap about other fighters. Easy to say when you've left the game. He is a great fighter, but the fact that he left so soon and had a lot to say about fighters afterwards, as a fan you feel jipped

His fighter dry humped a guy after knocking him down. I don't really think he has any say in this matter

Real title: Eugene Bareman doesn’t realize Ali Abdelasleeze is the one making these tweets and stirring up shit.

You know how fucked up in the brains this place is when an unknown molecule masquerading behind a made-up name on Sherdog is thought to have more privilege to speak than an actual MMA fighter with actual, relevant stakes in the sport.
The fact that there's even a poll on this is ludicrous and honestly downright disappointing.
Buncha dolts

The hypocrisy from Bareman shouldn't escape anyone this easily. He's a troll or a non self aware stump of wood

Maybe Eugene does not talk a lot about fighters because he is not asked a lot about fighters.

Which doesn't seem to be the case with Khabib.

It’s rare to see anyone in the limelight with genuine humility. An earlier post mentioned that he didn’t buy Khabib’s schtick and I agree. I feel the same way about Poirier, he seems like a fake good guy. At least with people like Jones & Conor, we know that they’re dickheads.

Eugene Bareman would like to see Khabib Nurmagomedov and his crew go back to their old school ways. Baremen, the head coach for many top fighters including UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, isn’t typically one to call anybody out for anything. One of his fighters, Brad Riddell, is set to face Rafael Fiziev in the co-main event of this Saturday’s UFC Vegas 44 event. When asked about where Riddell fits in the lightweight title picture, Bareman felt like Riddell may have a better chance at a title shot than Islam Makhachev — before noting that he has lost a bit of respect for Makhachev, Nurmagomedov and the rest of his crew.

He continued:

There’s still plenty of respect Bareman has for Nurmagomedov and his fighters, and seems to have an understanding out what fame and stardom can potentially do to the mentality and attitude of professional athletes.

In Bareman’s eyes. while some can navigate this choppy waters just fine, it gets to most others — Nurmagomedov included.

On still having some respect for them:

No fighter bashing on Izzy or Khabib folks. Keep it clean.

Baremen you say???? Keep going….

To be honest Khabib have always talk trash.

Remember him talking shit Pettis back in the day.

"Just hate his guts."?

Hyperbole.

I hate his guts when I voted that he doesn't talk too much? Sure.

Maybe you're not smart enough to parse through a nuanced opinion.

Yes, I tired of people whining about Islam being a victim in regards to getting ranked fights when he couldn't make it to fight night consistently and how he was portrayed as a victim by his rabid fans in regards to a title shot. I've never said I didn't enjoy Islam as a fighter or didn't think he was legit and never said anything negative about Khabib.

I guess that's what happens when you're a hugger, eh? Lol

No one mentioned Islam anywhere, preoccupied is what it tells me.

Anyway, regarding not being smart, I'm a doctor with a post graduate degree, working in the UK. I'll just leave it at that.

Good for you on voting him not talking too much. Guess you're still among the sane bunch, though it's impossible to know for real, and I could only judge from what is obvious.

You're still entitled to hate whomever you want to hate though, it's down to our personal preferences after all. Just try to be as objective as you can, especially being a mod.

Anyway, I don't have anything against you, hope your day/night goes as well as you'd like it to.

Nice to know you have knowledge in one field but can't apply common sense or reason to your perspective regarding MMA.

Anyway, I mentioned Islam because 75% of your posts relate to Islam and Khabib, yet you're telling me to be objective? Obsessed much?

Also your part about hate was asinine and misguided. Just calling it like I see it - huggers gonna hug.

Mentioning youre a doctor, lmao. I got a good laugh, lol.

Conor fans when Conor talks "McGod is just selling the fight! GOAT trash talker!"

Conor fans when Khabib talks "He talks too much! Fake Muslim!"

Yes I like Islam and Khabib's style and find artistry in them more than any one else's. You can call that hugging or whatever makes you sleep comfortably at night. Have at it.

And yes, most of your posts about them are generally indicative of you hating on them. You can choose to belittle my judging or refute it, I'm entitled to have it though, just as much as you are to your own.

Indicative of me hating them? Lol.

I can't stand the rabidness of their fan base at times. There's that short sighted perspective popping up again, lol.

I'm just gonna chalk this up to...

<FookIsThatGuy>

Moving on now.

You tried to qualify and legitimize yourself with your first sentence. But then followed it up with absolutely nothing productive, helpful, or cogent. Strong contender for the dumbest post of the day
Why cause everyone wants to take every word so serious? Learn to helax moniker. Dumbest post of the day goes to @Seano in the boxing forums.

Voted no. Talk your shit, hell its one of the ways to get ahead in the UFC at this point. Plus, he has always talked shit. With his success, moving to coaching and promoting, hes going to constantly be asked for interviews, Q&As, panel discussions and the like and his opinion is going to be asked on everything and everyone MMA related. Id rather he speak his mind on MMA related topics when asked than give some company answer.
