Israel Adesanya: I can beat Robert Whittaker "wherever I want"

He could beat Wittaker(maybe) but not Romero. He should wait a bit and he's gonna have the latter in the bag as well since Yoel is 41. If Israel plays things smart alla Money Team, he can build the most flawless career in UFC.

Its a bit of a paper/scissorsrs/stone division right now IMHO.

I'm not sure Robert Witaker will be the same ever after the 4th round of the last title fight. I highly doubt he'll ever agree to fight Romero again.

This guy may well beat him anywhere. We can't know until the fight happens.

Would he need to fight Romero again in the short to even medium turn? His record is 2-0 against him regardless of the controversy of the decision in the second fight. Coupled with the fact that Yoel has seemingly been debating about going up a weight class not to mention the fact he missed weight than surely Romero shouldn't be in contention for a title shot provided the Reaper is champ for a considerable period if he even decides to stay in the same weight class.

Israel has a lot of potential but at this point in both their careers Whittaker beats him pretty easily

What are you basing this from? There is literally no evidence 5o support what you just said .

still haven't mentioned romero once lmao. fuck off Israel you dweeb. fight romero, jacare or rockhold first. You can't skip bro.
He'll fight them if they earn a titleshot for HIS belt after he lifts in from Whittaker. It makes absolutely no sense for him to fight them before hand. Much more money and attention when the belt us on the line.

Sure there is... watch his fight with Vittori

He barely won a standup fight against a guy that is barely top 15.

That was only 6 months ago.

Like I said he has a ton of potential but if he struggled against a guy that low on the totem pole onky 6 months ago, how exactly will he cope with the best mw in the UFC?

lol Bob survived Yoel twice ffs, if that's not indicative of anything?? Well just get in the cage with him then. I'm afraid all the bling, gangsta rap and ebonics won't save you on that night.
"Ebonics"??? Smh

This guy is a good fighter but his cockiness is gettin annoying. I hope he gets humbled soon.

Seriously how the fuck are people still sleeping on Whittaker? Some seriously dumb people post on this site.

You remember Whittaker's next two fights where he knocked Brunson and Jacare the fuck out? Man's improved out of sight since then. By the same token Israel looked shit again Vittori, Jacare looked bad against Weidman early, Gastelum lost to Weidman and Romero was lucky to get past Kennedy and Jacare.

? I honestly have no idea what you’re freaking out over. I didn’t even mention Israel in my post and I’m a fan of Whittaker. I was literally just reminiscing about a fight I saw

Wherever? Sure, if the fight was a kickboxing match there is no doubt Adesanya takes Robert out, but this is MMA and with the threat of the takedown being very real from Robert against the Stylebender, I think Bobby Knuckles breaks him.

Adesanya could still pull off a knockout at anytime unless he gets severely drained from prolonged grappling exchanges.

Is Whitaker's grappling underrated by anybody who isn't Adesanya anymore? The dude has proved himself through and through time and again. Same with Adesanya but not with the level of competition that Bobby Knuckles has had.
