who did he beat under his ReIgN of ChamPioNshIp? he beat oliveira for the title. he beat Volk, who went up in weight class to fight him, in a fight where a lot of people think he lost. and then he beat Volk again, where Volk had 10 days notice to get his ass off the couch to make weight ASAP. So during his time of championship, he beat 0 LWs, has defended the belt against 0 LWs, has a close contested fight against Volk, and then beat Volk on 10 days notice. 0 LW defenses. And you're extrapolation is bad. And so are your thoughts. Believe it.

He beat the #1 LW, and the #1 PFP guy twice. He hasn’t turned down any fights or ducked anyone.

If you want to say someone doesn’t deserve something, then say that Volk has zero ranked wins at LW and never deserved a title shot in the first place, much less TWO. Blame Dana.

Islam is simply beating who they put in front of him.

The difference is that Islam is being active. How is that so hard to understand? When was Jones' last good performance at LHW? Against a washed up Gus in 2018? Thats nearly 6 years ago.
