I honestly think the only 2 competent military forces in the ME, are Israel and Iran.

Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey are kind of paper tigers. Pakistan less so because they have nukes.

They can give older equipment away now plus more + better air to ground stuff will assist their yemen campaign
Plus 100bil of equipment even if used badly is still significant man.....quantity has a quality all of its own

Their elite troops are pretty good and most of their regulat guys train regularly with nato forces and reports are they arent half bad at all.
They did become a laughing stock in syria but thats more political than military ie edrogan was beautifuly fucked over by putin
