Russia dropping phospor and other incendiary nasties over aleppo

Iraqi milita leader killed in aleppo

The SAA and rebels appear to be friendly to each other in Qalamoun. A pilot was recently downed in the area and the rebels returned him to the SAA and in exchange the SAA gave them some weapons to use against ISIS.

At this stage its just militas beside each other
Last year if i recall the regime militas in a base there radioed the fsa for assistance vs isis and got it..both local sides saw the danger from isis

Other news
Regime pushes for aleppo with large foriegn force and huge ruaf bombing
Even bbc reporting the amazing scale of the bombardment from air 'aleppo is burning'
Heavy use of their new fav mix of cluster bombs and incendaries

Assad interview denies siege on aleppo, blames 'terrorists' for everything and asks why white helmets deserve peace prize nomination...their response online is '' we save 62k lives ''....damn shoulda dropped a mic after that truthbomb

8 regime intel officers (air force intel aka assads ghestapo) die in strange looking car 'incident '

Russia accidently reveals they have 4-5 k troops there

Seems like the pace of bombing Aleppo has reached levels not yet seen during the war ahead of the announced SAA (+whoever Iranians can afford to pay) push to capture eastern part of the city. The white helmets report 81 killed in the city so far today.

Elsewhere Iranian/Russian agitprop is claming that "foreign agents" have been killed in a Russian strike near Aleppo: http://www.timesofisrael.com/russia-mossad-other-foreign-agents-killed-in-aleppo-strike/

In addition to the Mossad agents, the Russian report claimed, military officials from the United States, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and Turkey — virtually every country hated by Iran, Syria and Russia — were killed in the strike, according to “battlefield sources.”

The foreign officers were “directing the terrorists’ attacks in Aleppo and Idlib,” the Iranian Fars news reported, referring to the rebel groups that control the Syrian cities.

lols.

Yeah Trying to secure gains then seal them in with some sort of deal with kerry before hilary gets in or simple attrition eventualy rolls them back im guessing.
Its interesting how the mass use of incendaries has been escalated from daryaa to aleppo scale as being the casualy excepted norm.....barrel bombs on civilans are sooo last years war crimes ,fire is very in this year.

Isis seem to have countered again taking multiple villages from.fsa in north as well as some reporting them closer to deir el zour airport than they have been in years.

Assad, king of ashes.

What a shitshow the war has become, at this point i dont think there can be any winner, this will end when everyone is dead.

At this stage his nickname the mayor of damascus is more than just mockery its pretty much all he is.

This war still has plenty left in it id say
Theres so many factors in play now its insane.

What factors? hope that Hillary will plunge America in a war the moment she is elected? I seriously doubt it, not if she wants to reelect herself in 2020, assuming she even wins.

I dont k ow what the rest of you are seeing but the momentum us with assad and generally has been for a while.

War? Russia isnt going to start a humilating short war over this shithole ..putins not stupid
Not that hilary would even have to have the vodka airforce spanked,
she could just turn the southern front back on, increase weapons, increase and add new sanctions, attack hezbollah for israel etc etc theres a wealth of options for her to alter things dramaticaly.

And even if she (or .lol...trump ) kept up the broken status quo theres other stuff incomming to affect things
Isis increasingly collapsing , winter weather incomming grounding airplanes more often, fsa wrapping up in north aleppo and being touching distance with regime , peace treaty failing etc

1.- Putin is far more solid in power than Hillary will ever hope to be, Putin is not concerned with reelection or governance issues, Hillary will be one of the most weak political presidents at the start of her term.

2.- Does it really matters? if Assad is not gaining power, then certainly the FSA isnt either.

Russia restabilised the regime and its allies and stopped a long period of virtualy non stop losses but as time has dragged its highlighted the growing weakness of the axis too.
Russia having to literaly burn vast areas to make gains now..but taking and holding are vastly different beasts.

1)doesnt have any relation to her ability to act using any of the indirect methods i mentioned
Nor does it affect the almost comic disparity in u.s and russian capabilities in the region should she chose something less subtle like a no fly zone

2) itl be interesting too see what the peace collapse and a new white house brings

A no-fly zone is anything but subtle.

I highly doubt Hillary would go with a massive intervention that would required to stop the war in any reasonable amount of time. If the war has shown anything it is that the more countries get involved the more agony is inflicted upon the Syrian people.

Id say a no fly zone or better yetb the clever proposed "no bomb zone'' idea could massively reduce their suffering

So
In aleppo after days of unprecedented russian firepower palestenian regime milita forces take handrat/part of handrat with first reported combat in aleppo of russian troops! Reports of russian artillery and armour use

In hama rebels begin offensive again on fortified maan town.

Update the palis have taken a hospital.complex in aleppo too and for the rebels offensive maan has fallen as well as some outlaying towns! Al hamra with its army base outside remains last regime strongpoint before hama city proper

Su-25's are back after being gone for some months after the "withdrawal" by uncle Vova.

T-72 performs a magic trick and disappears in a rather explosive cook-off near Hama.

So russia using bunker busting ammo to break the people of west aleppo now , place is becomming just burning rubble
Last vascular specialist killed so civilan amputations set to spike to stem bleedings
Russia and us/uk/france firing some serious verbal heat at each other at un...the western representives getting up and walking rather than listen to regime representitives usual fantasy b.s !

Talk of ground offensive from regimes militas going to avoid trying the impossible of taking east aleppo but rather use bombs and starvation as usual and instead send most milita guys to try and take al bab from isis before fsa/turks do,long history of isis regime dealing means its very likely something could be worked out.

''Dessert hawk'' milita deployed to hama to try and stem rebel momentum..currentlyone stronghold left before hama city!!
Talk of a russian jet being blown up on the ground by constant grads hitting the airport now.

Talk of regime now using prisoners as meat shields to blunt isis pushes for deir el zour .....after whinging about western air strike now they are begging for them!
