Giving up their gains? They are a few vieds away from ending siege by some reports and conflicting reports seem to suggest they may have cut off some of the northern regime above rebel gains...but wel see

Assad has recently appeared on national tv using facetime(doing an edrogan) to appeal for his aleppo supporters to assist with battle, not a sign of things going well.

You're like comical Ali.

Everything is going swimmingly for the rebels.

They still haven't broken the siege, and they are losing vast amounts of difficult to replace armour, and many of their most experienced troops. From what i'm reading the rebels are making the same mistakes over and over again: wandering into pre-defined kill zones; and wasting experienced soldiers and armour with stupid human wave tactics.

Theres no rush in a matter of days they have whittled the gap down , taken some small ammo and weapon cashes and proven the front lines are highly fluid
The regime is taking heavy losses too and they cant afford the same attrition rate of loyal men. ...if this continues and esp if part of the southern front goes out of truce mode the regime will be in serious trouble

Side note hezbollah reporting israel struck at them in syria.

South set to explode too! 3 fsa guys who wanted to leave southern front in daara to help in aleppo battle have been executed by leadership there! After recent defections this could trigger splits.

Deir el zour battles rage, recent regime posting of 1000 iraqi milita was wise move as isis seem desperate for win somewhere, conflicting reports say they have taken a hotel and surrounding area so may have crept further towards airbase....if true that is

According to reliable sources by some people i personally know, Rebels are in very low morale right now. All this gain they had in recent days is just the last hope for them to break the siege this attack was planed in a other place but given the gains of SAA and hezbollah there they throwed most of their mainpower there and they succeeded but they are now being pushed back again and if the Saa succeeded in doing so, you can say goodbye to what is called Syrian rebels in northern syria

Manpower isnt an issue for them they seem to be a nutcase magnet globaly
Its the prestige and weaponry theyd gain
So while the russian air force is otherwise busy they are apparently attacking on 7 fronts there.

Still men and equipment that could've been used elsewhere, especially now that they're getting their asses beat in a number of locations.
I understand their recruits have dropped off significantly.

Heh I love how whougonnacall is spinning this like it's a win-win for the rebels. He should do stand-up comedy.

Why would u assume they are getting their asses beat? They are inflicting heavy losses on the regimes allies too

They've been losing consistently to the Kurds for a long time now, the Iraqis are getting their shit together somewhat lately and having pushing that back consistently. Been a long time since the daeshbags had any real victory.

What about regime morale ? Their losses here have been huge and even the most brainwashed local there knows not to swallow all rt and sana say on t.v.

Crossed wires here ur talking about isis? Yeah they are losing in manbij and almost everywhere
Thought u meant rebs

Yeah isis have been slowly grinding in deir for a while now but now russian air force distracted
They could use the manpower there but im assuming they have given that place up as done..instead they keep pushing in homs and deir

Also bear in mind not everything isis do makes strategic sense, while fighting rebs and regime in damascus recently they pulled guys back to.find and publicly whip civilans caught smoking in their territory !

No i know a friend who actually fight there ;)
Regime's morale is way more better at least than the rebels because they are one more step to declare victory

Because they are. Everyone apart from you recognizes the rebels are taking heavy losses. And ultimately it's up to them to lift the siege. They haven't been able to do that yet, and having lost so much armour and their best troops it's not looking positive.

Its only been 3 days dude dear god and the regime have taken serious losses too

Point still stands. If rebel offensive fails (which it is at the moment) their morale will be rock bottom having lost much of their armour and best soldiers. The siege will still be on, and the Russians aren't running out of bombs any time soon. The sky raining metal day and night is not good for health.
