ISIS kills two kurds and wounds some French commandos

Outside of Irbil. They used a drone.

I am wondering. ISIS is surrounded by their enemies. How are they getting resupplied? They have Iraqi forces to the South. Iran to the East. Russia to the Northeast, Kurds to the North, Syria to the West. Turkey is fighting them now too when they are not fighting the Kurds.

What corridor do they have to keep getting logistics? Unless they have yuge industrial base which I doubt.

Three Russians warships, including two armed with long-range land-attack cruise missiles, have been sent to the Mediterranean.

Russia's TASS news agency reported on 5 October that the Black Sea Fleet's Buyan-M class corvettes Serpukhov and Zelyony Dol had left their home port of Sevastopol on 4 October and were en route to the Mediterranean.

A day later TASS reported that the Nanuchka-III class (Project 1234) missile corvetteMirazh had sailed from Sevastopol for the Mediterranean.

"In the Mediterranean Sea, the Serpukhov and Zelyony Dol are set to join the permanent operational task force in the distant maritime zone on a planned rotational basis," TASS quoted Russian Black Sea Fleet spokesman Nikolai Voskresensky as saying.

The Russian Navy has maintained a task group off Syria since September 2015.

Turkish ship observers confirmed the southbound passage of Serpukhov and Zelyony Dol , with photographs of them passing through the Bosphorus appearing on social media on 5 October.

Commissioned in December 2015, the two Buyan-Ms operated in the Eastern Mediterranean for just over a month from mid-August and carried out a strike against targets in Syria on 19 August using Kalibr NK cruise missiles. The missiles have a range of more than 1,500 km.

Mirazh does not have land-attack missiles, but is normally armed with P-120 Malakhit (SS-N-9 'Siren') anti-ship missiles.

So
-Rebels making gains in lakkita offensive talk of political infighting final resolved in east aleppo for attempted siege break to go back on.

-lots of brand new tow and grad footage as well as new small radars used for detection of troop and vehicles
Rumour of syaf being fired at by 3 manpads 6and aa fire in south, flak fired too and one of 3 su24 forced to return to base was damaged....huge if true

-fsa/turk advance in northnaleppo
Closing off last northern isis pocket suffered setback with loads of remote ieds forcing some withdrawals

Will this war end or change drastically in 3 months?

I'm hoping given hillary's continued support of a no-fly zone. I have bad anxiety over this now

All Latakia gains have been reversed.
SAA retook a few town in North Hama.
100 JAA fighters joined ISIS after getting the shit kicked out of them by AAS.
And most importantly East Ghouta has been severely shrunk after recent SAA gains.

-Obama discussing options on fri including military (hel prob veto that)

-fsa target motorcade killing 6 russian officers and iranians in hama

LOL. That bullshit is right up there with whatever the iranians or whoever was spewing about killing a bunch senior foreign military advisors to the rebels in a missile strike a few months back. Straight up, pics or it didn't happen.

The interesting thing is to see what Erdogan and Putin agreed to. Those two have something up their sleeves. With the Saudi ambassador to Egypt hightailing it out of Cairo, because the Egyptians have broken with the House of Saud over Syria, and a Russian-Egyptian joint military exercise kicking off tomorrow, the game's afoot in the sandbox.

Iranian officers wouldnt be news worthy they die there everyday

The delivery of ammo to the pkk is def a cat among the pidgeons

I can't believe I'm still hearing that Hillary would continue on with her no-fly zone policy in Syria. This is horrifying. Is this making anyone else lose sleep at night?

Plenty of Russians have died in Syria. We have vids of rebels hitting a Russian helicopter with an ATGM, shelling a base, and a Russian getting sniped in Palmyra. Dollars to donuts, some of those tanks being lit up by ATGMs have Russian crews. If you're targeting a motorcade, you're gonna video tape that shit. Post it and make the Russian MOD look stupid, otherwise it's just bullshit.
