Is this the best movie intro ever?

I go with Watchmen intro, music is awesome and fits the theme so well.

Watchmen intro is sick. I'd add Inglorious Bastards even though the scene is about 20x longer than any normal intro. The acting by Christoph Waltz is just supreme with the build up. The full clip isn't available but this is close enough and we've all seen it.

Holy crap that looks bad.

To think the next Star Wars villain is slumming in some piece of crap movie, aka 1950's meets 1980's movie, well let's say the light side has a edge here.

Brain scrub after that pos preview.

Way of the Gun > Star Wars

AWESOME. When I clicked this thread my only response was going to be the way of the gun. I was ecstatic when I saw that was the actual clip. I laughed so hard the first time I saw that I probably watched it three times in a row. I still remember my friend saying as soon as he saw the red haired guy "look at this ass hole he has to be a douchebag" that had to be 2004ish.

The movie is sort of slow for my normal action flick kind of style but it's up there as one of my favorites movies.

First scene of the first Blade. Too lazy to yt it.

Are we talking just before credit intros, or the first ten minutes or so?

In both categories:

A Clockwork Orange
Pulp Fiction
Fargo
There Will Be Blood
Saving Private Ryan
Dawn Of The Dead(remake)
The Dark Knight
Inglorious Basterds
Trainspotting
Oldboy
Susperia
Goodfellas
Lord Of The Rings: FOTR
Star Wars: ANH
Jurassic Park

Now that I think about it, in theaters by far the best intros to a movie were the fake trailers at the beginning of Tropic Thunder. The way the played them off as actual trailers to preview the "actors" in the movie was fucking incredible.

"Here we go again...again!"

This is one of my absolute favorites. But Jellis nailed it with Tropic Thunder

Everything about the Satan's Alley trailer is genius.

intro to man of steel was epic
