Why are more people not talking about Pitbull’s UFC debut??

Not that much mileage. If you compare the quality of his competition to someone like Max, it's not even close.
Dude has been fighting in Bellator since before the UFC had a featherweight division, the only guy his age or older still ranked at featherweight are Emmett and Kattar who both look pretty washed.
We'll see how Max looks in 4 years. He's been fighting for 6 years longer than him and has 10 more fights, in fact he has more fights than anybody in the division in the UFC beside Cub Swansons who has one more pro fight.
He's been in quite a few back and forth fight where he's taken a lot of damage, especially when he was younger. Anyway the level of opposition point is moot as most milage comes from training camps anyway.

Yea man if you’re into “other than Marvel/DC” sup content, it’s a good tangential story to The Boys and the whole Vaught universe. Not a big commitment. They’re only one season deep and episodes are shortish.

Invincible is also fantastic, though not related.
I like the boys but heard gen V is a let down compared to it.

Yea it’d be hard to top, or even match The Boys. Definitely not on that level. But, still ok.

I figure if I can watch 2-3 shitty Apex cards a month, I can invest a few hours to see if a TV show is ok 🤷🏻‍♂️

That would make him 34, the age of Merab and Pantoja, current champs in even lighter weight classes.

I think Pitbull is passed his prime, but there are plenty of lighter weight class fighters in their mid to late 30s performing well. He doesn't need an excuse before he even fights.
Fair. But the loses have started pulling up already and he is showing his age. At this point I’ll be surprised if he makes any waves. But look forward to being wrong.

Probably the fight I'm most looking towards to on the card.

I've been mentioning him in a few threads. Really looking forward to seeing him fight in UFC, should be fun and violent and entertaining. Great signing for UFC.

Of course he is getting older but I still believe in has many fights left in him. Should get a few good years out of him.

It's hard to see a guy who couldn't beat Sergio Pettis making big waves at FW, I agree. We'll find out soon enough.

Because Arlvoski's UFC debut was like 25 years ago.

Duh.

But if yall wanna talk about his dirty boxing debut, that would be relevant. That just happened pretty recently. Here it is:

Can't believe no one has commented on this lol.

That was the first Pitnbull that came to mind. Next was Alves, followed by Freire.

Dirty Boxing has a weird, unique rules set.

Good to see AA get the W.

He's old and 1-2 in his last 3... People would be frothing at the mouth if he made the jump anytime from 2014-2021
