Is there any doubt that Ngannou will absolutely obliterate Jon Jones?

Yes, I seriously doubt Ngannou obliterates Jones. Which amounts to saying I doubt he can hit Jones flush.
Now, Miocic is another story; I favour him over Jones. If I knew for a fact Jones was fighting clean, I would bet the house on Miocic.

Outside of his raw power, Franc basically has a wmma-tier skillset. Much like Stipe already did, Jon clowns Franc and shows that there's levels to technique/skill

The only one in those gifs who was trying to take him down was Cain, and he was shot and didn't belong in the octagon with him.

Blaydes couldn't wrestlefuck him in recent times, I give Ngannou credit for that. But Blaydes telegraphs his TD's and is one dimensional.

Stipe was prime and well rounded. He took Ngannou down with absolute ease. With timing and mixing up his TD's. Jones can and will do the same.

If Jones took DC down with ease, even at LW. I am confident he can take both Stipe and Ngannou down with ease.

But recent Jon has become a bit of a Romero, and wont use his wrestling, when did we last see it? Gustafsson 2?

Maybe the lack of PEDs has knocked his cardio and confidence, and like Romero is scared to engage in long grappling and working for take downs due to fear of gassing.

He would not take down one legged Santos, stuggled to keep down and take down Reyes.

You really thinl he can take down and control Francis?
Yes. Did you not see the stipe fight? Francis is not a coordinated man in the grappling realm. He was legitimately awful

Normally, I would say that Jon Jones would use his Fight IQ to neutralize Ngannou's power.
But in the last few fights, Jones has been much more hittable than usual.
If he takes as many hits as his last few fights, Ngannou will KO Jones.

This is actually a styles make fights matchup and Ngannou has a very good chance.
It is a KO specialist versus someone that lacks comparable KO power.
So it depends on how much Jones can avoid getting hit.

Fair enough, but I'd bet that Ngannou at this point has better TDD then Reyes, simply due to being much larger and having experienced that Stipe fight. Plus Jones was similar size to Reyes, whereas he will likely be significantly smaller than Ngannou.

Don't get me wrong, I think Jones can win, but he has to play it extremely safe, even moreso than Stipe did, as Stipe has better head movement and fundamental boxing compared to Jones. Though Jones does have that ultimate equalizer, they unstoppable eyepokes from hell
i wasn t mutch of a size deal had he toke reyes down in the center of the octagon it would probably have ended up like gus 2 tho francis has a way longer reach and a inhuman chin

I think Jones will beat him. Francis hasn't fought anyone as talented as Jones yet. He will always have a puncher's chance, but I expect Jon to pick him apart and KO him.

Is Jones really considered gifted anymore or are we looking at the past? He's been scraping wins as of late and only looks impressive when fighting guys he has a big reach advantage against. Also Ngannou has a granite chin and Jones doesn't have KO power. If Jones wins this there's little to no chance it's by KO.

Hey casual, Dana already said Jones will fight the winner of Stipe and Francis will fight Jon Jones

> "Hey casual"
> Believes Dana's words, hasn't yet realized that usually the opposite of what Dana says is the truth

At least you admit ngannou needs jones to train on cocaine and hookers fo ngannou to have a chance
I did no such thing. Jones is a shell of who he used to be, ignore the obvious if you want to.

pretty sure u wont bet against jones.

Jones will use his reach and leg kicks to keep him at a distance, then once his leg is beat up, he will take him down at will.

If Jones finds his second wind at HW and employs a wrestling heavy gameplan, maaaaybe he keeps his head on his shoulders.

If its a similar Jones to the one that turned up vs Reyes and Santos? he wouldnt make it out of the first round.

Stipe is champ and already beat Francis.

And that's his only good win. Other than Ngannou, he only has wins over out of prime old guys. Plus he got finished by Struve.

Best chance for Ngannou is blitzing Jones early like he did with Rozenstruik and pray to knock him out early. If Jones eludes the first 2 blitzs Francis will start to slow down and it's the beginning of the end for him.
I think there is the possibility that Francis tries to play it slow from the start to not gas but that would be a mistake, since Jones will pick him apart with kicks.
If Jones is half the fighter he was in his prime he just outclasses Francis big time, and maybe going to HW will motivate him enough to get back to his creativity with spinning shit, wrestling, etc. not just play it safe with just basic shit.
