He's a grappler. No need to kick higher. He reportedly kicked his stuntmen in the nuts to ensure that they were wearing a cup, which I think was very thoughtful of him

Seagal looks like such an idiot here but DAMN look at how graceful that woman dances and moves. It literally looks like she’s on wheels the way she floats around. Kinda cool.

he may know aikido but I don't think he's as "deadly" as he claims... I remember reading something one time, him and JCVD were having issues and JCVD issued a challenge at a party... but Segal bitched out. So I mean, he may be better than the average guy but I don't think he's all he has claimed.

But I remember once, at my home in Miami, I believe it was in ’96 or’97, Van Damme was there with Seagal, Willis, Schwarzenegger, Shaquille O’Neal, Don Johnson and Madonna… it was a heck of a party. Van Damme was tired of Seagal saying he could kick his ass and went right up to him and offered him the chance to step outside so he could wipe the floor with him, or should I say wipe the backyard with him. Seagal made some excuse and left. His destination was some Ocean Drive nightclub in Miami. Van Damme, who was completely berserk, tracked him down and again offered him a fight, and again Seagal pulled a Houdini. Who would win? I have to say I believe Van Damme was just too strong and Seagal wanted no part of it. That’s just my opinion.

He could beat me (an untrained bum) up but not Stipe Miocic, granted there's a huge chasm there, not sure exactly where his skills would lie.

Yeah he would be interesting to see. Considering that Askren could win so many fights... who knows.
 
it's proven that aikido is the most legit martial art. it's proven that Steven seagal is as legit as it comes. and it's double proven that human pee tastes like a chocolate shake.
