Is Rousimar Palhares at risk of being cut?

Is it to late for him to change up his game? Who knows but when his meal ticket gets taken away from him he's hooped/Ko'd.

The sport has evolved by leaps and bounds within 1 year? People should be careful of repeating random marketing lines when they don't make sense.
 
Right now? Well, there have been promising guys who have been cut in the past, but that doesn't happen often. They rather cut veterans or lower profile guys who aren't exciting. Palhares has been in some big fights and has been on the main card many times, is always fun to watch.

It makes little sense to cut a guy like that. He's lost to some good fighters but can't seem to get that big win under his belt. Give him a step down in comp, see how he does since he's lost two in a row. If he can't get past those, then it's time for this talk, imo.

Also, he can't get blasted away like that. His chin will fold eventually. Bustamante is a solid boxer, but not good enough to be coaching him at this level. Blackhouse with Dorea would be a good move, but then again, Anderson is the champ in his div. There are better options than Busta. If he doesn't progress there and can't take someone down, it's gonna be tough for him.
 
usually they let guys go that arent good or have fat contracts. neither apply. hes cheap and good so i think he stays with a loss
 
i think theyd keep him after one more loss, he beats 95% of none zuffa mw's. they know this. he'd only be resigned a year later
