Is Overeem the 3rd best striker in MMA history, behind Anderson Silva and Crocop?

Overeem is second to Silva IMO. If he had a chin and gas he'd seriously be a fucking killer look at what Mike from Holland got him to do to Travis in their fight. Except he gassed and got taken out but Jesus that was brutal Travis was done.

Hoost got annihilated by someone with zero KB background multiple times so I'll put him at number FOR SHAME.

Fedor has never been out struck on the feet. Only time he was ever stopped by strikes was on the ground in a turtle position with a shot from behind by Dan Henderson.

He would be my vote.

Fair enough it was a godlike performance, but Mirko practically did that with almost prime Wanderlei, a far more dangerous fighter and much better striker

I don't think any fighter that has ever competed in MMA would have beaten Mirko striking that night, the closest might be Reem or Prime JDS, (or maybe Fedor) but I think CC would be too technical for JDS and maybe even too sharp for Fedor

If you took into account the reach, you would not be saying the same thing. Jones is pretty good, but its his super lanky frame that makes the most of it.

JDS's upper body and CroCops lower body is even more potent imo
