Most of the die hard fans are also in their 40's. They know the time is up. It was fun while it lasted and the cardio + jiu jitsu + 1,000 punches per fight made amazing entertainment that will live on in their minds, and eventually fade away into the sands of time.

Nick needs money. Nick is doing really, really bad and has been doing bad for a while now. After he stopped fighting he became a self admitted alcoholic. Ti-athletes in fighters is rare - no one would swim a mile, run a marathon, or bicycle 50 miles as part of their training.
