Chandler is still a beast that nobody would've doubted against this guy at any point, that most thought was a mid-tier novelty act. Paddy is obviously a bit better than we thought

Chandler has always been outsized at LW and combined with age it really showed last night.

But Paddy has improved each fight and showed some legit skills wherever the fight goes. He's a legit threat at LW and if he keeps focused with the clear mind you could hear in his voice last night he may just be champ sometime.

I think Paddy has developed perfectly. allowed to scale opponents appropriately with time. Historically this type of hype train would have been thrown to the wolves before his time and gotten stretched by better competition. Now he is worthy.

I feel like a combo of both. Paddy looked great either way though. The man has improved and I look forward to his next step up

I think it was more Paddy being good. Chandler does not have a good UFC record, but it is not like he was getting destroyed. He was also mostly fighting upper tier guys. Chandler has a good gas tank and had several impressive back and forth wars. Paddy physically dominated Chandler in every aspect. The layoff could have effected Chandler but I doubt his skills took that severe of a nose dive

Honestly, Chandler is too fucking small for any weight class above 135. His extra muscle meat isn't helping him at all. And it's too late now to try to fight in his true weight class. He's old.

He has Muscle Dysmorphia and he tried to make himself bigger with muscles but he just got his ass handed to him by Paddy fucking Pimblet. Paddy is not that great, he's just a giant in comparison, and size matters.

I'm not a fanboy of too many fighters. I am a Chandler fan though. His UFC run has been tough to watch even though he has had some glorious moments. The writing is on the wall now, he should retire.

Paddy is severely underrated. But unfortunately Chandler at this point is washed for sure.

Paddy is that good. He looks to improve with each fight. I think that’s why people were so surprised by how dominant a performance he put on. I chose him to win, but thought it was a toss up based on his previous performances. I thought his striking defense looked particularly improved, though he looked all around better.
