Is Jon Jones's win streak still active?

Technically yes.

An NC doesn't break a win streak or an undefeated streak (the clue is in the name: no contest. It doesn't count)

E.g. Fedor had a 27 fight win streak, despite the NC in the 2nd Nogueira fight.

However. In reality Jon Jones is a cheat so none of his wins count.

A draw breaks a win streak, but not an undefeated streak.

no fedor went unbeatin for 27 fights.

NC essentially means the fight "officially" never happened. It doesn't interrupt a win streak. It also doesn't count toward an unbeaten streak. For all intents and purposes, it doesn't exist.

He got a Dq, Nc and usada got him few times... I consider him undefeated and his streak is legit even if I don't like him as a person.

it's technically also a Jon jones record because he's currently on a 16 fight win streak.
Incorrect, dude. According to official records, he hasn't won all 16 of his last 16 fights, so he's not on a 16 fight win streak.

I think this is similar to the notion that a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square. Its similar but different criteria. I see what you're saying though. In my mind he's undefeated. But we have to go by others people's rules.
Essentially doesn't it amount to all the same thing a unbeaten streak in which you've never loss is a win streak. If those who want to count the Matt Hammell dq as loss you could, but still a win streak every fight after that...

How is it active when he's popped and stripped of title for drug cheating?

And an NC isn't a lost.... Thus legal loopholes!

But it's A WIN steak, not a no-loss streak
