I'm guessing a shithole and have no desire to find out for myself . I made the mistake of going to st. Thomas already
Goldeneye is indeed beautiful. It’s like everywhere else really you just have to find the nice areas. In Jamaica’s case I highly recommend Ricks Cafe (Negril in general)
I've been to negril three times. There are some nice areas. Most of it is a 3rd world shithole but there are some beautiful beaches. I’d like to go to the area where Ian Fleming lived.
The weed sucks though
i hated rick's cafe when i went.
complete shit hole. much better and safer islands to travel around.
unless you like sitting in resorts, then it doesn't really matter where you go I guess.
Really? I thought it was very nice and laid back. The jerk was great and it wasn’t overrun by college kids at the time. Being a college kid myself I really appreciated that fact
pure tourist trap. personally not into that kind of thing.
Agreed.Both.
One of the nicest most honest guys I know is Jamaican. He's a great guy. From great Family.
With some of the criminal element there I think you either get fantastic people like my friend or all out fucking criminals.
Gotcha I’m the same but I thought might as well experience it once.....I guess the most tourist thing I did was Dunn’s river falls....now that is a one time experience
What do you mean by that?
Shit compared to other stuff you have had elsewhere or that you just don't like it? Because weed aficionado rank Jamaica as one the best sources of weed. Geez I think it is their national flower and many consider it a sacrament.
Complete shithole...unless you don't leave the resort...
I've been to negril three times.
Great place. The weed does suck. But I hear that everything's legal now and they have vending machines of weed at the airport even
yes physically it is arguably the most beautiful island in the Caribbean and competes with Hawaii in that regard. Beaches, Jungles, Mountains (for coffee and cocoa) and if you avoid the rougher places (just as you have to in the US) you will be fine. Not really there are beautiful waterfalls and mountain jungles. Also some very down to earth Rastafarians and locals if you stay out of Kingston.
