If conor loses, I can see them doing an instant rematch.

If conor wins, I doubt there will be a rematch, because a Nate trilogy or a gsp fight will be on the table.

Yes because if conor loses it will be a fluke obviously. If he wins that was supposed to happen so no need for a rematch.
 
Honestly I don't see that. Maybe if it's an instant classic and if is then its not a bad thing.

No , They didnt give one to Aldo i dont think they are giving one to Khabib even though Ali fighters always get rematches and title shots LOL

Once Khabib demolishes Conor, his fanboys would start giving excuses of Ring rust etc. and he'll instantly get a rematch, which he'll lose again. I see this happening .

It really depends on how the fight goes.

But Conor does have more power due to the money he brings in, and that gives him the possibility of rematches that others wouldn't have. It's not fair, but it's nature of the business.

or a rematch at all? he didn't even rematch aldo after aldo was interim champ to unify the belt. He fought 2 other guys and was stripped.

Why would Khabib get an instant rematch? He's beaten Iaquinta. LOL!

The only reason Conor would get a rematch is because Khabib wants some more money.
 
Nah not even Conor can pull a rematch out of his ass if Khabib thumps him.
 
Why are they even letting this guy fight for a belt again? 2 belts, 2 divisions stalled for a year each, stripped twice.
If he wins, he'll fight Nate (who hasn't fought at LW since 2015), Tony, Dustin, Lee everyone will give up a year of their careers waiting. Then he'll get stripped again. Is normal.
 
They'll probably do it because of GREED

Unless it was a straight mauling... then maybe not. McGregor is smart enough to know he can still make money fighting guys like Nate Diaz.

Hey man not fair.

Laquinta was a game guy. Sure hes ranked number 11 but that doesnt mean Khabibs belt means any less than Conors. I mean yeah Conor beat the actual champ to win his belts but still
