Khabib hangs out with very sketchy, shady people, it's not that far fetched that some of them would go after the guy who beat their idol in the eventuality he does lose to someone. That Mirzaev guy got stabbed and shot in Moscow by some dagestani supposedly close to Khabib out of some petty bs, just to name one. There are a lot of shady criminal stories surrounding his clique (including within his family).
I think Al Iaquinta might have dodged a bullet here, or several.

I think it's safe to say that this is the reason Khabib is undefeated. Lots of fighters could have beat him, but they chose not to out of fear of what would have happened afterwards. I feel like Eddie Bravo is with me on this one.
