Is Henry Cejudo the Worst Double Champ in UFC history?

Who in their right mind gives a toss what Justin Turdo's fav fighter is, the man is an enemy of the people. Same goes for giving a shit who Mark Fuckerberg's fav fighter is, someone who made billions from selling your information.

Good post brother, but that man's name don't belong.

Definitely not imo -- he won and defended in each weight he was champion in.

What? Nobody liked that Cejudo had beds for his belts with bedtime story’s he YouTubed?

Your first point renders your entire argument null.

Conor was by far the worst champ. This is a thinly veiled Conor defense thread.

Am I the only one that thought to be a Double Champ you had to hold two belts in two different weight Classes simultaneous( at the same time)?

Context matters. TJ, Moraes, Cruz were at the very end of their careers when Cejudo beat them.

He bashed TJ Dillashaw so he'll always be a legend for that

Conor is the worst. He's the cringiest and never defended.

I would call him arguably the best for the defenses.

GSP is a legend and top 2-3 for single division champions but id argue the weakest double champ because his second belt over Bisping felt like a gift.

The odds for gsp vs. Bisping at the time didn't suggest that it was a gift. It's largely been revised that way, but many were doubting GSP going into that fight.

They had a belt made for Cyborg. She just KTFO Cyborg, burying the division in the process... For me that's fair enough.
It didnt though, the division hung around like a smelly fart. Its still there now isnt it?

eh thats not too fair Sherbro, sure womens FW was a joke but knocking out Cyborg in less than a minute is absolutely legit. i agree the two title defenses dont mean much but the Cyborg win is one of Amanda's best.
we can consider her double champ like Conor is double champ. a belt without a defense.
Yes, i consider her double champ the same as i consider conor double champ - i highlighted those 2 as clearly the worst.

Everything i said was 100% fair. Both her divisions are a joke, one isnt event legit enough to form a top 10 on the company website

Its fucking farcical

1 win in a division doesnt make it more legit. The fact there is only 1 good win in becoming double champ actually proves my point. Its farcical. Like conor

Might as well make a 155lbs wmma div in the UFC then Nunes can beat someone up there and become triple champ and therefore clearly the greatest MMA fighter ever male or female
Yep, would be equally as legitimate as her 145 belt

I would say it is 100% inarguable Nunes is the worst considering her 2nd belt is in a division that isnt complete enough to be called a division.

Then 2nd must be conor due to privileged match making and zero defences.

After that is when the actual debate probably begins

Only other manlets respect him. I've had about 15 kickboxing classes and I think I'd mog him tbh, there's no replacement for height and he's what like 5ft 4? I'd control distance no problems

Shut up Sean Woodson. There's weight and skill! :p

That is crazy, I forgot about his ankle. It's like so many get stuck in their own bias, they have an automatic reaction down play anyone they don't like and up play anyone they do. I paid close attention to Cejudo since he joined UFC, being an olympic wrestler and all. It was a wild ride start to finish, I consider these years like Silva after losing the title, he's an old FLW.

Even at the time it was "DJ was robbed". Then "TJ was compromised so it doesn't count". Then later after Moraes started his L streak, it was "Moraes has no chin". "Cruz was old and Cejudo got lucky". You can poke holes in everyone in mma history downplaying every opponent. Feels like there's so many haters in MMA sometimes. You have to atleast attempt to look deeper than the wikipedia results and be as objective as you can analyzing it in context of its time.

In which case context matters, Nunes barely had a first decision and didnt have a 2nd

Women's BW was once pretty good although it has gotten worse as time as gone on. It used to be the marquee women's weight class. Strange as i dont think i remember another weight class in MMA thats regressed so much. But Nunes beat everyone worth beating at BW, all the previous champs. If she beats Kayla thats a pretty nice feather in the cap.

And now that i reconsider it a bit, Felicia Spencer isnt a bad win. Should've been at BW though. The UFC got into women's FW after most of the (limited) talent had been snatched up by PFL and Bellator. They didnt care about building it as a serious weight class and it showed.
