Is Frankie Edgar top 10 all time?

Just add Rich Franklin to the list. He will really liven up .

Isn't the Franklin figure which better embodies the crazy UFC bias there is across these boards when it comes to a fair assesment of MMA legacies and history?
I think so and there are reasons that explain why, even Franklin himself could give you some clues in his interviews, he is very honest and insightful about UFC PR machine..
Believe it or not Im a Franklin fan and actually consider him a top15 all-time MW.
Top5? Holly shit, the fact its seen as a reasonable take by many on here is very telling.

The Frankie vs Cruz comparison is already being adressed here.

Yeah, I live up to the statement that being Cruz and Frankie around the size/weight, if you have a slight understanding of the context in which Frankie made his career (where there was barely even LW division in UFC initially), to consider equal or even inferior the caliber of competition Frankie battled just because you can hide behind a cheap stat like "tittle defenses" is absolutely disgusting.

Finally, being a terrible honest bitchslike this dude @BFoe , who displays obscene bias in alsmost every take he parrots on here, and doesnt have the balls to be frank and straight about such gross obscene bias / ignorance is vomitive. To see him around bragging about "having balls" in top of it is next level of :eek::eek:

Cormier is not top 10 he was never the best fighter in any weightclass he fought in

Cormier KOed the long time HW champ, despite undersized. He was #1 HW.
At LHW the only guy who was ahead of him is the #1 in this same p4p rank so your point is pretty weak. Also PEDs.

Controversial I know, but I wouldn't even put him top 15
I can understand that—but there’s a line somewhere, right? Like, there’s 8 divisions, so there’s your top 8 (probably). Mach Sakurai was once thought to be the best in his division, would you rank him above Cormier? Of course you wouldn’t. But what about someone more realistic, like BJ Penn? BJ has a good case for being there under your criteria, as he beat Gomi and Hughes smack in the middle of their primes. Hughes got one back on him though.
So who fills out your top 10?

It's an interesting topic to me, ranking those who aren't a divisional goats.

Because right or wrong, I've noticed that most people seem to rank the 8 men's MMA division goats in the top 8 P4P.

Usually the next few fighters are the likes of DC, Hendo, Hughes, Couture, BJ, Conor, Holloway. Recently Volk, Izzy and Usman have been added to those trends.

Out of curiousity, out of those 10 names where would you put DC; toward the top, toward the middle or toward the bottom? I'm not debating here, just curious.

So who fills out your top 10?

3. Jones
4. Johnson
5. A.silva
6. Aldo
7.volknovski
8. Hughes
9. Andesanya
10. Holloway

I can respect it. I don’t think I can justify putting Holloway above Cruz or Khabib, but I can understand your ranking.

Lets see, he won the belt at 155 being severely undersized, beat prim BJ twice in title fights, should've regained the belt at 155 but got robbed against Bendo, moved down to 145 and lost a razor thin decision to Also for the belt then went on a spectacular run where he got ducked by Conor for the belt. So he should've been two division champ if politics weren't involved. So what do you guys think, is Frankie top 10 all time?

He's in there for sure...but ur post and wording make me not even want to agree with u...

Ok! You have certain triggers such as Cruz and Franklin.

Top 10 LW... sure, probably. Not Top 10 all-time, but maybe in the Top 11 - 20 range.

Haha were you in that thread?? That was his most recent meltdown. Putting Franklin in top 10 MWs all time doesn’t seem that crazy to me, but boy did it set him off lol.
He just went off for no reason. Like seriously chill out.

Holy shit i totally wiffed on cruz i just plain for got about him for a second he's on the list, right above huges

Decent, fair list, these guys are all significantly ahead of Edgar. I think Usman, Vitor, Chuck, Stipe, Nunes, Shevchenko, Max Holloway, BJ Penn, Henry Cejudo, Randy, Matt Hughes, Conor are all higher on the all-time list. JDS, Reem, Bisping are debatable. Edgar is outside the top 20....maybe 25 or 26th.
Conor...Lmao.

No and no argument you could make would change anyones mind

Ok! You have certain triggers such as Cruz and Franklin.

Mine or your triggers and meltdowns dont change any evidence nor the legacy of Frankie or Rich.

After hundreds of posts you still couldnt deliver an argument for rating Franklin as high as you do, whether if by 185lbs resume alone being consequent with your Frankie/Cruz approach. my dear dishonest, cheap bi:eek::eek:
Nor by resume at 185 and above, where you refuse to be frank about your obscene bias while braggin about "balls" in sherdog lol
Its what it is. Just a sherdog discussion.

Frankie is outside the top 10 for me p4p easily in the top 15-20 though his career is crazy impressive.
